Pros:
Very usable interface and generous free trial options (a range of different operating system options, etc.).
Cons:
The first time I tested (back in 2023), there was a bug that prevented me from seeing the website in real-time. Since then, I believe the product has become more reliable.

Reasons for choosing BrowserStack

I used both, Browsertest was a more user-friendly, beginner option.

Reliable and Easy-to-Use Testing Platform

Overall, my experience with BrowserStack has been very positive. It has helped save a lot of time in testing by giving instant access to real devices and browsers. The platform is stable, easy to use, and perfect for ensuring quality across multiple environments. It has become an essential tool in my workflow.

Pros:
BrowserStack makes cross-browser and cross-device testing extremely easy. I can instantly test on real devices without needing to maintain any setup. The interface is very user-friendly, and the performance is fast and reliable. It also supports a wide variety of browsers and OS combinations, which helps a lot in QA.
Cons:
Sometimes the session takes a few seconds to load, especially on mobile devices. A few older device configurations are slow or laggy. The pricing is also a bit high for small teams. Apart from that, everything works well.

Reasons for switching to BrowserStack

I switched because BrowserStack provides faster test execution, more stable real devices, and smoother integration with our automation workflows. The overall reliability and performance were better compared to the previous tool.

Access to a large library of real devices: A key advantage for developers and QA teams is the ability to test websites and mobile apps on thousands of combinations of real devices, browsers, and operating systems without needing a physical device lab. Robust testing capabilities: The platform supports both manual "Live" testing and automated testing using popular frameworks like Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. This allows for comprehensive functional, regression, and UI testing.

Great Value for Mobile App Testing and Automation

5

My overall experience has been excellent. BrowserStack has significantly reduced our testing overhead by eliminating the need to maintain physical devices. Our mobile automation suite runs consistently across OS versions, screen resolutions, and device manufacturers. Debugging has become quicker thanks to screenshots, logs, and session recordings. It has helped us improve QA coverage, speed up releases, and deliver a more stable mobile product. I would definitely recommend BrowserStack to teams looking for reliable cloud-based mobile testing infrastructure.

Pros:
BrowserStack has been extremely reliable for our mobile automation workflows. The availability of real Android and iOS devices helps us validate UI, performance, and network behavior exactly as it would appear to end users. Integration with CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions is seamless, allowing us to trigger automated test runs on every build without maintaining our own device lab. The platform is fast, stable, and provides detailed logs, screenshots, and video recordings that make debugging much easier. Their support team is also responsive whenever we need help with configuration or device-specific issues. Customer support is too good and I really impressed with it.
Cons:
Some high-demand devices get queued during peak hours, which can delay runs. Network-based tests sometimes require manual configuration, and setting up BrowserStackLocal for secure environments could be smoother, especially when running multiple parallel tunnels. Pricing can also feel slightly high for small teams, but the value justifies it.

Pros:
Detailed Test Results Dashboard - For Automation Testing they provide very advanced dashboard, and it includes all test results, logs, screen recording videos and with many more details. This is well worth the money we paid. Sharable Public URL For All Test - We can get public URL for each test that we run on BrowserStack. So this test result management is very usefull and no need to manage results in another place. It is very useful for explaining issue to other teams. Their device farms have high security level and no risk at all. 24x7 Support Team and Learning Material availability - They response our support tickets within few hours and also, they have technical support teams to solve our technical gaps.
Cons:
Pricing for the Parelle tests might me high for startups or small groups. But they have very flexible sales team, and we can chat and get discounts for annual plans, and you can negotiate the price.

Reasons for choosing BrowserStack

Before purchasing we contact their sales and support teams. Only Browserstack teams are response to our tickets.

Reasons for switching to BrowserStack

Kobiton has time-based plans, and it did not meet our requirements.

Great Tool for Mobile Automation Testing

5

We use BrowserStack to do automated testing of our Android App in conjunction with Espresso and Android Instrumentation test framework. We have quite a complex app and a lot of automated tests around it that we run on every PR with a Jenkins integration. The overall setup has been quite helpful for us to catch any bugs on the Github PR itself and has helped greatly in increasing our app stability and stopped us from shipping critical bugs on a lot of occasions. The overall experience of setup and running BrowserStack has been quite easy for us.

The best solution for mobile automation

5

We started partnering with browserstack over a year ago because we wanted a better solution for mobile testing. The Browserstack team sat with us and provided technical feedback, training and demos in order for us to ramp up quickly. They are always proactively looking to help and offer solutions, and we have now integrated their mobile automation into our regression test cycle. They provide a safe and integrated way to seamlessly run tests, with detailed dashboard and metrics to help triage.

What I like the most about Browserstack is the level of support and care that the team puts into their products. The team is always proactive in offering training and support, providing advice and technical troubleshooting when needed.
Cons:
I feel like the Browserstack team is sometimes trying to encourage the purchase of new products too aggressively. I would prefer a target approach to understand the customer needs first instead of looking to sell more options that would not fit our roadmap.

Reasons for choosing BrowserStack

We chose browserstack because of the large array of devices, the combination of live and automation on mobile, and the cost that fit our budget needs.

Overall, it’s been a really solid experience. It just works. The platform’s reliable, and it helps us keep our websites looking good and working properly no matter where they’re viewed. Pros:
I really like how simple BrowserStack is to use. The layout just makes sense, and you don’t have to dig around to find what you need. The screenshot feature is a big plus — it saves me a lot of time when I’m documenting or showing issues to the team. What’s great is being able to check sites on different browsers and devices without needing all the hardware. It’s part of our weekly check routine now, and we also use it before and after a site goes live just to make sure everything’s working right. It gives a bit of confidence that nothing’s going to break once it’s live.
Cons:
Sometimes it can be a bit slow when switching between browsers or loading a new device, but that’s not really a big deal. Once it’s running, everything’s smooth.

Reasons for choosing BrowserStack

We gave LambdaTest a try but ended up sticking with BrowserStack. It just felt more stable and easier to use. The interface is smoother, and it covers more of the browsers and devices we usually test on. It also runs a bit faster and doesn’t drop connections as often, which honestly saves us a lot of time during testing.
