About TeamUp

TeamUp is a club management software designed to help fitness studios, personal trainers and gyms manage administrative operations related to online classes, payment collection, memberships and more. Using the customer relationship management (CRM) module, professionals can track the activity status of clients, edit personal information such as health status, credits or payment details and utilize the referral engine to source new leads.

Businesses can use TeamUp's dashboard to customize membership plans, schedule upcoming classes or workshops, create recurring timeslots and track participants' attendance on a centralized platform. It provides mobile applications for iOS and Android devices, which can be utilized by customers to register for new classes and receive automated notifications about waitlist status. Additionally, the product collects payment through credit/debit cards or in-person transactions.

Pros:
I can focus on teaching rather than constantly answering booking requests from my clients. It’s easy to use and collecting monthly fees from clients is hassle free.
Cons:
I’ve used TeamUp over 4 years and nothing negative comes to mind.

Teamup is Amazing

11/10 They are quick to respond and fix any issues. They are constantly updating their system and adding new features and I have never had an issue with student sign ups or anything.

I would like if there was a feature added that allowed a class to auto cancel some time period before the class if there are no sign ups.

Automatic payments are helpful and simple registration. User friendly and easy to navigate as the manager.
Cons:
Not being able to merge the family plans. And the app is easier to use than the website. Time zones were hard to adjust for making the schedule correctly.

As a studio owner of 25 years and seen staggering changes in how we run our business in all that time I am delighted to be leaving this review. Having been with Mindbody and got thoroughly fed up with constant price hikes I looked around for an alternative. We moved to Teamup in 2016 and have been with them since. The easiest switch from Mindbody to them - mainly because they have done it so often, it was seamless. Most of all its the team behind Teamup that makes this an easy decision. They have the same values of looking after their clients as we do. You don't run a studio and retain clients for years as we have managed for this long without a lot of input into client retention. Lots of great flexibility and easy to use.
Cons:
There are always things that can be improved and we have the chance to comment on a wish list that others can see too and if's its a good idea or a great improvement, they make it happen.

Talking to the on boarding team at Teamup - no brainer, they were great. No hard sell, lots of help and advice and did not pester me at any point. Interestingly years on, all of those people I spoke are still there working for Teamup. That says a lot.

Appalling customer service, really expensive and constant price hikes for no extra benefits.

Great software for your gym or martial arts school

Teamup has been one of the best decisions we’ve made and has made the friction of setting people up minimal. It has gained us lots of students and we can’t praise it enough.The team is also quick to respond to any questions.

It’s very easy to use, it has almost any feature and set up you can think of and it’s quick to use and flexible to fix when you add a new class or change an old one.The payments are easy too, to collect and set up how you want them. The memberships are easy to use and events are a cinch to set up and charge for.
Cons:
Not many, only the lack of a grading system for martial arts classes, and the check ins could be nicer and easier a bit.

Pros:
This product is so easy to use. it is almost a "plug in" and use piece of software. Having said that, because of it's vast functionality (which is brilliant) it can get a bit confusing sometimes if you forget your way around the software. I do find myself going round in circles, but I get there in the end. It does everything I need it to and more. I do feel like I only use 30% of the software's capability. Every time I have needed assistance, it is easy to reach out to someone who can guide me through my problem. This is so important as the software is so vast, I sometimes need help making the most of the functions.
Cons:
As I am a small business the cost is what causes me most pain. I have 15-30 active users, and feel that the entry level price of £49 is a lot for me, considering that my business is at the size where I only really need to use 50% of the whole functionality. If there was a smaller fee, which allowed a more basic functionality, perhaps at a lower scale of what is currently offered, I would be super happy. Ideally for me, as a sole trader, with no employees, I do not need the functionality for multiple teachers and embers of staff.

It's been fantastic and really reliable. Trustworthy, fast, easy to use - the members love it and the support is always there. I need to delve into the functionality some more- because I think/ know it can do more!

That the cost is per person whilst you are growing and then a reasobable set price thereafter. The functions are also amazing- so many.... Booking, memberships, mailing lists. The support is also REALLY quick and easy to understand.
Cons:
I don't like spead it opens on my phone- I want it quicker! But that's probably my phone and nothing to do with the app!

TeamUp is the best for martial arts gyms!

With TeamUp everything is in one place! I can setup my timetable for booking classes, setup courses, multiple membership tiers that customers can easily upgrade to, collect payments, notify people of cancelled classes and more! In fact, there is a ton more feature that I am still yet to use!
Cons:
Nothing everything is great! If I think of a feature I need I will let you know!

I love team up

The easy to use app is not just straight forward to use for myself but also for my clients. My technophob clients tell me how easy it is to operate the app. I save hours of time with the automated messaging service. My clients appreciate the reminder for their sessions and also a thank you for the birthday message that I am able to send.
Cons:
Some extra features would be great. Sending an online christmas card or season greetings messages. I would love a message to go out to members who are running low on sessions, with a reminder to book.
