Traverse creates a service-oriented view of IT infrastructure and identifies network issues that can impact business activities. Traverse offers an integrated network configuration and change management module which enables IT teams to automatically backup configurations of entire IT infrastructures. The solution is capable of collecting, storing and analyzing performance data from various devices.

Great network monitoring and config managment software

Great product that can be tedious at times, but has been a great addition to our company. The reports are easy to export and print for showing management what's going on with our network. Error reporting/alarms could be more verbose, but that isn't a huge deal. Support is always quick and ready to help.

Pros:

UI is great and easy to navigate. MFA through AuthAnvil is a great feature. The config backup feature is easy to use and unlimited confg storage is a plus. I like being able to compare 2 configs side by side. The customizable dashboard allows me to set different graphs for an instant snapshot of all of my WAN interfaces.

Cons:

Discovering and monitoring firewall interfaces is cumbersome and the emailed reports that you can set up occasionally don't come in at all. Some reports don't pull any data while others looking at the same interfaces do.
