Uphold 2026: Benefits, Features & Pricing

My overall experience with Uphold has been good. I just hope I never need customer support for anything important.

Uphold is a modern payment solution that allows you to "send anything to anything". I use it for transfers in different national currencies with low fees. I mostly use EUR, USD, and GBP. It's fast, there are a lot of different payment methods available and withdrawals are fast and easy as well. I also use Uphold for sending cryptocurrency payments. At the time of writing this review, there are 56 different cryptocurrencies available at Uphold. I've been a happy Uphold user for many years now and has seen this company grown from a start-up to a solid, innovative company. I love how this company makes it easy to send/receive payments in different ways and get into cryptocurrencies with a few clicks. Thanks to innovative solutions like this, we don't have to rely as much on traditional money transfer or payment solutions.

They emailed me a notification on 1/21/25 falsely claiming my bank account was insufficient and that my bank (PNC) had declined the transaction. They also charged me fees for the alleged insufficiency. I called my bank and they said ALL my accounts were more than sufficient and nothing had ever been submitted. We tried getting Uphold on the line and no one answered. Their voicemail was very unprofessional as if it is for personal use. I left a message and never received a returned call. I then emailed them my complaint, #5304430 & #5304399. For some reason I received 2 emails so I responded to both. They responded back to #5304430 with the same lie despite my account never being insufficient and my willingness to submit proof or get my bank on the line. All my bank accounts have more than enough to cover the transaction and my bank said nothing was ever submitted. My bank also noted that I would have received something from them personally if such had occurred. They never responded as of the time of this review to Complaint #5304399. I responded back to their email reiterating my position, notifying them that they’d response was inaccurate and insufficient. I further requested a phone call from a person. I then immediately notified a friend I encouraged to try Upload with me at the same time. Now, they are having problems withdrawing their money!!! As a former Circuit Court Judge, I caution all to stay far away; and those affected like me to report this company and file a police report!!!

Good, very good and super safe, it goes far beyond when it comes to a simple username and password, but have to be well organized to keep a backup of your credentials and recovery codes to gain access in the future.

Uphold made me trade on my own tempo and find my way easily in the cryptomarket without being scared of not being able to collect my money at any time.

I don't know as much about trading crypto as I do stocks, so the learning curve is different having to convert crypto to fiat then to my bank account or other place when I sell. The funding is also not as easy but again, this has changed over the last several years. So I'm going to say it's ok now.

It's an average crypto exchange, it's cool cause it integrates seamlessly with Brave but besides that nothing special

Overall, my experience with Uphold is being great: I'm receiving monthly BAT tokens from Brave Software which then I can hold or withdraw on this very wallet. This wallet also has a lot of markets (cryptocurrencies, utility tokens, stablecoins, national currencies and metals) in which I can invest. Despite the charged fees, the transactions are very fast and secure. I must also mention the "integrations" section in which I can connect third-party apps to my Uphold account, which is very practical and handy.

In general the greatest benefit is being able to enter the stock market, in addition to this you also have to invest in cryptocurrencies or metals

It is the virtual wallet that I use, it has never given me problems with transactions, the deposits arrive quickly. It is a very easy-to-use wallet, so I would recommend it to anyone who wants to start using digital money.
