A great tool that lets me visualize concepts quickly for clients

Overall, Arcadium has become part of my regular toolkit for initial concept presentations. It's not replacing my CAD software for final deliverables, but it's perfect for those early conversations where clients need to "see it to believe it." The learning curve was minimal, and I was creating presentable designs within an hour. The value for money is excellent compared to traditional rendering software subscriptions.

Pros:

The AI image rendering feature is a game-changer for my workflow. I can take a photo of a client's existing space and instantly show them different design directions. Clients love seeing their actual room transformed.

Cons:

The furniture library could be more extensive. I appreciate that I can generate my own models but it would be good to have more designer pieces that my clients often request. Also, I'd love more control over materials.

3D Modeling Tool with Great Value

It's become essential for my initial client presentations. The combination of speed and visual quality means I can show more options and get feedback faster. Clients love being able to see their space in 3D immediately. Has definitely improved my hit rate on new projects.

Pros:

The speed of creating mockups is amazing. I can put together multiple room concepts in the time it used to take me to do one. The AI feature helps me when I'm stuck for ideas and need a fresh perspective. Being browser-based means I can work from client meetings or even mu iPad.

Cons:

The material library needs expanding - especially for flooring and wall finishes. Sometimes the lighting doesn't quite capture the mood I'm going for.

Helped me get professional house designs effortlessly

Being able to plan everything digitally saved me from making expensive mistakes later. Even though the lighting looked better than it probably would in real life, I could tell the room sizes and layout were correct. I'll definitely use this again if I ever add onto the house.

I could see what my whole house would look like before we started building. The 3D images showed me how the rooms would fit together and helped me make sure everything was right before telling my builder to go ahead.

Cons:

The preview made everything look bright and well-lit, but it didn't show how the sun would actually hit different rooms during the day. Some rooms will probably be darker than they looked in the design.

Arcadium 3d modelling awesome and quick to learn

visually easy to work with, super simple, great for instant gratification 3d modelling. There is so much software out there to have to get a handle on its really nice to get such quick results.

Pros:

I created a 3d model for repair work on my property within 2 hours, and the learning curve was fast. I need a program that was intuitive and able to give me quick results, really not in the head space to learn a complex design program.

Cons:

Still learning the software so have no issues as yet. I also need to go through the tutorials to get a deeper understanding. I was trying to figure out how to connect elements in the drawing, such as a fence on top of a wall. Getting there...

Pros:

I use Arcadium for my architecture class, and it has been incredible to use! There are plenty of features available, and the AI tool for generating objects works very impressively. Students have really enjoyed getting to work with the software. We will definitely continue using it for future projects!

Cons:

The drawing tools are alright, but they are not as smooth as what I have experienced with other CAD software.

Great Tool

Pros:

The 3D visualization helps me understand room layouts and furniture placement to help plan electrical runs. Being able to see where the homeowner wants their furniture, TVs etc is really helpful. It's much easier than trying to interpret flat floor plans or sketches.

Cons:

I’d like to have more symbols or markers I could add for electrical fixtures and switches etc. You can add text annotations though.

Makes room design much faster

Really streamlined my room planning process. Instead of sketching layouts on paper I can work directly in 3D which saves time and helps clients visualize better. The ability to quickly swap out furniture styles means I can show multiple design directions in one meeting.

The room design tools make it really easy to experiment with different layouts. I can drag furniture around and instantly see if a space works or feels cramped. Being able to then see the layout in multiple different styles with AI is also amazing. It's a great help in brainstorming ideas.

Cons:

Generally no issues. Perhaps they need more rug and accessory options to complete the look, but the rest is just great.
