About AssessPrep

AssessPrep is an AI-enabled online assessment platform designed for IB MYP, IB DP and IGCSE classrooms. AssessPrep helps educators create, deliver and analyze both digital and pen-and-paper assessments, including formative assessments, summative assessments, or full-scale IB eAssessments.

With multiple curriculum-aligned questions in the IB question bank, teachers can create assessments tailored to subject, level and learning objectives. Questions can be tagged to standards, allowing schools to gain instant insights into student progress and curriculum mastery. AssessPrep delivers online assessments that work across devices with real-time monitoring, auto-grading and detailed reporting. With Paper Mode, educators can export student-specific, print-ready PDFs, distribute pen-and-paper assessments and bulk-upload handwritten submissions for AI-enabled grading. The AI assessment platform auto-maps responses to students and questions.

From a user standpoint: AssessPrep is generally a solid, modern tool for digital assessments. It delivers real benefits — especially in saving time, increasing flexibility, offering analytics, and enabling interactive and scalable assessments. For many schools (especially those with remote or hybrid classes), it seems to offer genuine practical value, and many users seem satisfied with the experience. However — as with many EdTech platforms — its effectiveness depends a lot on context: device/internet reliability, how complex the curriculum/questions are, and how well the school integrates it into teaching. It’s not perfect: occasional bugs, subject-specific limitations, or usability quirks can frustrate users. So if you go in with realistic expectations (digital platform, not magic), it likely represents a good upgrade compared to traditional paper-based assessments — but perhaps not a flawless, one-size-fits-all solution.

Better data, analytics and insights AssessPrep offers analytics and reporting features so educators can get a clearer picture of student performance — strengths/weaknesses, attainment, etc. That kind of feedback loop can help tailor teaching/learning and monitor progress more effectively. Many reviewers say this has improved the way they plan follow-up teaching or remedial work. • Good for schools with remote / hybrid education needs Especially during scenarios like lockdowns or remote schooling, AssessPrep’s digital assessment platform appears to have been very helpful. Media Bulletins It seems to give schools the flexibility to deliver assessments online (or hybrid) while maintaining exam integrity.

Easy to work with. Super friendly with assessments.

It is great. Quite easy to work with. Able to monitor all the students during an assessment. Especially love how you can customize the AI responses to meet your specific needs. The library is great and I constantly see new materials there.

Pros:

The library, the AI evaluation feature, the data analysis post assessments, able to monitor all the students in one go.

Cons:

Miss the old version. Getting used to the new interface. Can see only 10 students when it comes to checking but that's okay.
