About Oliver POS

Oliver POS is a point-of-sale (POS) system built on top of WooCommerce. Made with small to medium retailers in mind, Oliver POS seamlessly combines e-commerce and physical stores.

Everything is integrated with Oliver POS, eliminating the need for multiple integrations, syncing with other systems, and manually updating inventory. This means Oliver POS is always in-sync with WooCommerce products, customers, orders, settings and thousands of WooCommerce plugins.

Hardware can be purchased from Oliver POS or through third-party vendors. OliverPOS is compatible with multiple devices, whether it’s an iPad, Mac or PC. Third party barcode scanners and cash registers are also supported. Shop owners will have various reporting tools at their disposal, so they can easily understand store performance. Users can generate customizable reports from sales to employee performance in a clean, organized interface. They will be able to process payments through debit, credit, cash, gift cards or store credit. They can also split payments, use store credits and give refunds, resulting in customers' total flexibility.

2 years using Oliver POS across online and physical stores

We have had a great experience with Oliver POS for now as we really love its features allowing us to follow our daily cash management, separate instore and online sales, track our several employees sales efficiently, and much more.

We found Oliver POS because it was the only POS compatible with the Points and Rewards WooCommerce Plugin. It allows a great customer experience !

Cons:

The fact that sometimes there is syncing issued between WooCommerce and Oliver POS catalogs.

Oliver POS is the best for WooCommerce

I like the Oliver POS very much. It works great for our non-profit's gift shop and at conventions and trade shows.

The best thing about Oliver POS is that it works seamlessly with WooCommerce. Oliver POS gets all of its information directly from WooCommerce, making the sync seamless and flawless.

Cons:

The only con I can think of is the POS equipment.

There aren't a lot of POS systems out there that work well with WooCommerce. Oliver works perfectly.

Best POS for Wordpress with Woocommerce

My overall experience with oliver has been rad we switched after our prior pos stopped working with our card terminal oliver is so much easier to use it works great with our woocommerce and stripe and our membership and gift card plugins it all interated perfectly. Would highly recommend for anybody using wordpress and woocommerce.

The team at oliver will actually respond to your emails and is willing to help small businesses talor the pos to meet theor needs and integrate with whatever payment processing and plugins you may be using. Oliver POS has really helped me with my makeup company, as it has made it easier for us to track in store sales and website sales because of the woo commerce plug in.

I wish it came with 2 users for smaller businesses, as the price is a bit high for an extra user

It is easy to use and install, i haven’t experienced errors about POS and inventory

Cons:

There are errors in options and customising; other thing is that Oliver does not take the bulk discount pricing I have in my products and I have to set the discount by myself.Last, it would be great if Oliver POS develops the system for suppliers and stock purchased

The program is pretty easy to use. It had a few hang ups in the set up, but does seem to function. Adding a customer is quick and easy, adding items to cart and closing the sale is straight forward.

Cons:

When entering a customer 's address it sometimes would change to our store address when processing the sale - this is a know issue.

We made a huge mistake choosing Oliver POS

The worst ever. They are too busy to talk to us, always "in meetings". When the do email us, can never resolve the issues. Blames everything on "the developers" who cannot be reached.

The absolute worse customer service. Four months in and still cannot get the system to work
