I enjoy the simplified act of scheduling appointments with coworkers and clients. It makes the process much smoother and time-effective.

Cons:

I do not appreciate the ads and limited features since switching to the free version as we were not using it as much as we anticipated.

I love that it gives you the option to make polls and take an assessment of voting options. I love the scheduling poll it's so needed instead of constant back and forth trying to see what everyone's time is like.

Cons:

Probably just the ads. But I use the free service so I'm not sure what to expect. And sometimes integrating it is a little clunky.

Excellent tool for scheduling meetings for large groups

I was first introduced to Doodle a few years ago when I needed to schedule an introductory meeting and then the subsequent monthly meeting for a group of stakeholders who were working on a project. We first tried asking members of the group what day was convenient, and it was quickly realised that this method would not work. One of the members told me about Doodle and I tried it. Amazing! Within two days we had our meetings scheduled!

I am able to select so many options for dates and times to ensure that everyone has something they can choose. It saves a lot of time and effort because you do not have to go through multiple emails (back and forth) when trying to schedule a meeting for a large group.

Cons:

I have not identified any cons to Doodle yet. The way I use it for work, it provides me with exactly what I need.

Free version is simple with a lot of ads

Overall, my experience with doodle was positive, it was better than emailing out dates to a group of people and hoping to get a written response; they just needed to click what worked for them.

What I liked most about doodle was that is simple to use to create a group poll, but many other features are paid.

Cons:

Many features are paid and there are many ads on the screen, which can make it a little bit difficult to create and read invitations.

Reasons for switching to Doodle

It was difficult to try to receive an email response from each participant, then tally up the popular dates. Doodle allows me to quickly see who has responded and when they are available.

Excellent free tier to get started, brilliant for group polls

While we didn't use it for professional / client-facing work, it was brilliant for helping us get organised when organising casual social events.

When we used Doodle in corporate environments, we found it so easy to use for group polls and eliminated a lot of to-and-froing. It was free for this very useful feature.

Cons:

None. We didn't make use of Doodle as a calendaring or 1:1 appointment booking tool, but to help us organise casual / social events with minimal fuss.
