Intuitive, Clean, Reliable and Adaptable Software

Connecteam has been always been fantastic to use in my experience, has never been "down", never had login issues, support is always great. Hopefully they have more improvements and additions on their roadmap.

Pros:

Connecteam is super simple to get up and running. It's very intuitive to use, unlike many other platforms I've experienced. Customer support is quick, and has always been very helpful and friendly to boot. The fact that Connecteam let's you have 10 users before charging is another plus. It enables you to get to know the platform before committing, which is not only rare, but great value.

Cons:

I would love the option for forms to be able to fetch data from a source. For example, you have a drop-down list on several forms, if an option needs to be added to the list, you have to update every single form rather than just the source. This could be implemented and be amazing.

The reason we chose Connecteam over others was the cost and ease of use.

Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Assignar became prohibitively expensive for what we were using it for, and Connecteam was a far better fit.

Stress Free Organization

It makes it easier to run my multiple teams. They have different schedules that need different documents. And all can be found in one app.

One app for all my needs. It’s schedules. It also is a time clock. And it allows me to upload documents needed.

Cons:

That I didn’t use it as soon as it was available to me. It would have made my life easier sooner. But now that I use it, I won’t stop!

Organized and mostly easy to used

This is still a new ish system for our company, and we are still learning the ins and outs but we haven't had any issues with bugs or the system crashing, so that's a plus.

Pros:

I like being able to see and edit scedules easily, as well as creating forms and chats for the team. Subtasks on the schedules are great because we can see how busy each person is during the day. The time tracker is also great because we can see and remind eployees to sign in/out due to their in time activity on the app. Also great that they can adjust their own hours in real time before thwir timecard is reviewed for the week.

Cons:

Unless you are an admin, you are not able to create subtasks on other employees scedukes. This is tricky as we like to make notes for each other and if something needs to go on there, non admin haave to ask admin to add it. The other frustrating thing is the view when signing in from my phone vs. The computer. On the computer, I'm automatically signed in as admin, whereas in my phone, i have to click into being an admin before doing anything on there. It would be better if it just signed me in as admin on my phone automatically. There are too many plan upgrades needed when we want to add things like extra subtask spots, which makes it seem like the value for the money doesn't seem worth it all of the time.

Reasons for switching to Connecteam

There weren't enough features (such as forms, timecards, and chats) all in one spot and it was harder to keep track of everything on multiple apps/platforms.

The best time tracking software out there at an affordable price

Overall, I love Connecteam. They make time tracking simple and easy to use! I am so glad that I found out about them!

Pros:

It's amazing software, and they provide it free up to the first ten users. I recommend it to all my clients! Their support is really great as well, and they are always coming out with new features. It is really easy to use and intuitive.

Cons:

I wish you could and subjobs after creating a job. Also, when filtering jobs in the timesheet, I wish I could just view the data entries for that job without having to export them to Excel.

This is free for the first 10 users, and I worked at a company where they used it, and it was great!

I like the multiple features to be able to help manage employees and business. I find it easy to use with the scheduling and love the options to send posts about employee accomplishments. I like the easy to search tool to help employees find SOPs or the handbook quickly. The check list option has been a life saving tool for our business.

Cons:

The forms submission process. It may be user error. I would also appreciate an easier to use feature to see who is clocked in and at what time and where they are in their shift.

Reasons for switching to Connecteam

Homebase was lacking a lot of options to keep staff on the same page. We needed multiple platforms to be able to accomplish what Connecteams does on one platform.

I liked how simple and user-friendly Connecteam is. It’s easy to add new users and admins, and the instructions are clear and easy to follow.

Cons:

I wasn’t able to change the timezone to my preferred setting. I contacted customer support and was told it had been updated, but the change didn’t reflect. I eventually left it as it was.

Connecteam is so very easy to set up and use! We are able to stay in contact with all the employees so quickly and easily. Managing the many different threads is a breeze--LOVE Connecteam!

Cons:

I wish the HIPAA feature was more affordable. Running a busy Practice, coordinating with a dozen employees and hundreds of Clients is a challenge sometimes. Having to get creative with word choices to ensure Client confidentiality and privacy just slows the communication process--affordable HIPAA compliant platforms would aid in our communications.

Looked at so many options and Connecteam seemed to offer the best features even though we use ONLY the messaging feature--we just have so many more options with Connecteam.

Great for a Small Business with lots of helpful features!

It's great, interesting, lots of features and heaps of support. There is a lot to learn from it, and is fantastic for all sized businesses.

Once you get used to it, it's simple to use, great functions. Being a small company, the small business plan is perfect for us and offers so much. I really like the support we get, with the help it is instant answers, which is very useful when starting out.

Cons:

Sometimes clocking in and switching between jobs is not that easy for the team to understand, but we are getting there.... Also when clocking back into a job from a break - the time starts from 0 rather than continuing on from where it left off - ( but do understand its a time flow thing), that on the small business plan, when we have a team member leave we have to delete all info on them rather than archive - its a shame that a user cant just be archived - removing them as a user but still able to add on to your 10 user limit. Also that admin takes up a user space also... but we are doing work arounds.

It was too expensive, especially with exchange rate, and a lot of new products were not available to us, even though we had to pay same subscription fees

Love the clean UI

Pros:

I chose Connecteam for the price and for the UI - it has a much cleaner look than competitors' platforms. Also, the app is straightforward for my lower SES (not technologically savvy) employees.

Cons:

Pricing structure is very confusing. I also have a few feature requests, including ability to rectify schedule with timesheets for ease of invoicing.

Reasons for choosing Connecteam

I seriously considered Homebase as their pricing for unlimited users ($30/month) is highly desirable. While Connecteam is more expensive than Homebase, I liked the UI and the reports better. WellSky was my favorite but $$$ so I went with Connecteam due to price.
