Using Milient has simplified my workday

I really appreciate being able to generate reports that improve my efficiency at work. Not only do I get to efficiently invoice our clients, but I also get to monitor their payment progress, send reminders, etc.

The conciseness makes for a useful overview. Our company has a good grasp of the system and can steer and regulate operations using Milltime. The tracking module is intuitive, and the system integrates smoothly with both payroll and enterprise resource planning.

Cons:

It's a minor annoyance because reporting time spent on a given project requires double-entering the time and then clicking the pencil icon to describe the work done during that period. There is too much complexity in the project's planning and tasks.

A good product that with a remake could be top-notch.

Connectivity to go from time entries to preparing the invoice and sending it, and getting it automatically communicated to our ERP.The preparation step ("Projektunderlag") is good but has room for improvement. Filtering, searching etc. But the functionality it self is good.

Cons:

Feels old. The UI has room for improvement. Many steps are cumbersome, and the feeling of things added over time making things more complex than if designed from scratch is apparent. Many views, like the "Projektunderlag" view, cannot be filtered and sorted in a good way. You need to put the project and customer name in the project name field in order to get a reasonably good overview in the "Projektunderlag" view as you cannot add project name to this view.

More regular updates and new features are something I'd appreciate. The SaaS platform's foundational features are strong, but the company could show it is serious about keeping up with the times and satisfying client expectations by adding new ones on a regular basis.

Since multiple projects are being worked on at once at my company, each one is at a different stage at any one time. Milient ensures that the team stays on track so that they may finish their work on time. The bareness of it is beautiful to me. I'm new to using Gantt charts, but I find the several perspectives to be quite useful.

Cons:

It's not perfect, but I've managed to pull off several major projects using it. Moreover, there are occasions when I have multiple, concurrent jobs that aren't strictly dependent on one another, but I still want them to move in unison when their dependents do.

Cons:

I've used simpler project management tools, so if this is your first time here, I recommend you take your time and think things through. To get the most out of the tool's potential, I think they need to improve their user interface.
