The automations, upsell features, and communication flows saved us time and made our process feel more polished and professional. There’s still room to improve on onboarding and reliability, but the team has been responsive and open to feedback. It’s a strong solution for operators looking to scale smartly.

Hidden SMS Fees, Confusing Billing & Guest-Unfriendly Fee Structure

After reviewing our invoices in detail, I realized the thousands of unexpected SMS charges stemmed from automatic text notifications sent to my team and me for every event in the system. Although we selected SMS notifications, the cost implications were not clearly disclosed during onboarding or visible on invoices. Had this been transparent from the start, we would have relied on email or push notifications instead. While the concept behind Enso has promise, the execution and billing transparency fall short. The pricing structure feels designed to monetize every touchpoint — from notifications to guest purchases — creating unnecessary friction for both operators and guests. We’re now exploring alternative software options that offer automation without hidden or excessive fees.
