About Routefinder Pro

Routefinder Pro is a transportation management solution that helps schools streamline operations related to routing, scheduling and planning of fleets. The application allows educational institutions to analyze pickup locations, optimal routes and other data via a unified portal.

Routefinder Pro enables organizations to define stop sequences by distance or time, create alternate trips, view and approve students’ pickup/drop-off locations using geographic maps. It offers a host of features including shuttle runs, GPS tracking, field trips management, ad-hoc request tracking, automated reminders, what-if scenarios and more. Additionally, supervisors can view information about stops, hazards, streets, addresses and students by selecting specific sections on maps based on radius, region, point, walkout or other attributes.

Routefinder Pro lets administrators gain insights into routes, trips, expenses, assets, staff and more via customizable reports. Pricing details are available on request and support is provided via phone, email and other online measures.

Routefinder Pro has had a huge impact on our district.

Routefinder Pro has allowed our Transportation Office staff to work quickly and efficiently and finally stay on top of all the daily functions needed for a successful transportation department.

Pros:

Routefinder Pro is a very user friendly software with easy to recognize icons, great colors, and the ability to custom it to what you want to accomplish with your district.

Cons:

There is so much depth to Routefinder Pro, it will take you some time to learn it all. Fortunately, you can be up and running doing funtions you've never done before in short time. Some of the special functions can wait for a quiet time.

Reasons for switching to Routefinder Pro

Traversa was not user friendly, and the customer support was no where near what Transfinder offers us daily.

Great software to use for School Districts

We have been using this software for 4 years now and it's great and wonderful to use. If we have any questions at all or need to ask any questions the support team and call center is right there to help.

Pros:

I really like the user friendliness of the software. Once you get the initial training from the company you can do almost anything with your routes.

Cons:

The one thing I didn't like was that the load counts for exceptions are not calculated in with the bus load counts. We use exceptions for split custody or daycare stops and we need to make sure the buses are not overloaded in capacity.

Great program for student transportation. Windows based product and give the user full control.

I saved our school district a ton of busing costs by using this product.

Pros:

The ability to visually create bus routes for students. Automatically adds students to bus stops created by the user. Ability to make custom reports or import student info in a document for mailings is wonderful. Customer support is awesome and this is a must have for any Transportation pro..
