Pros:
Good quality of products. Easy app interphase. Fear price.
Cons:
Very disappointing experience. My order was delayed without any notice—I had to reach out myself to find out what was going on. After multiple follow-ups, they suddenly canceled my order without my consent, blaming an internal error, and told me to reorder instead of just printing and shipping it. Poor communication, zero accountability. Wouldn’t recommend if you need reliable service.

Excellent tool for printing books

Blurb Software is a remarkable solution for crafting high-quality books, magazines, and brochures. As an author who self-publishes, I have experienced a significant impact from Blurb Software in the realm of book design and printing. The software's intuitive user interface makes it effortless to navigate its numerous features and options, even for individuals with limited design expertise.

Blurb Software delivers outstanding print quality, resulting in professionally finished books with sharp images and vibrant colors. The software also provides a diverse selection of paper options, enabling me to select the ideal paper type for my book, whether I prefer a glossy photo book or a matte magazine
Cons:
One aspect that could be improved is the pricing, as it may be higher compared to other self-publishing platforms.

Reasons for switching to Blurb

it may not have advanced features that are needed for more complex design projects. For instance, it may lack advanced typography options, color management tools, or vector editing capabilities that are commonly available in professional design software.

Great product but very high printing costs

My overall experience with Blurb is positive. But the high printing cost is about to make me consider looking elsewhere.

Pros:
The bookmaking software interface is user friendly. Paper quality options are numerous as well the cover type options.
Cons:
The printing cost is astronomically high. An 8x10, dust cover, 240 page photo book will cost you $141. Affordable perhaps as a one-off but not affordable for bulk ordering for retail, even with the 25% discount on 50+ copies. This is my only complaint. I hope Blurb can lower their printing costs.

I recently used Blurb to create a portfolio, and I was extremely impressed with the high-quality printing and fast turnaround times. Blurb's book creation tools were easy to use, and I was able to customize my portfolio to my liking. The end result was a professional-looking book with crisp images and text. I was also pleasantly surprised by how quickly my order shipped. Overall, I highly recommend Blurb for anyone looking to create a high-quality book or portfolio

Pros:
Blurb offers high-quality printing services that are comparable to those of traditional book publishers. They use high-end printing equipment and materials to produce professional-looking books with crisp, vibrant colors and sharp, clear text. The book creation tools are user-friendly and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to create a book from scratch or use one of their many templates. It is easy to upload photos, artwork, and text to create a fully customized book.
Cons:
Some of the cons include the cost, and printing services can be expensive, especially for large or complex projects. Also, although Blurb's book creation tools are user-friendly, there are some limitations to the customization options. Users may not be able to achieve certain design elements or layouts, which could be a disadvantage for some projects

Pros:
I recently used Blurb to create a portfolio and was impressed with the quality of the printed product. The option to upload a PDF was easy to use and the print turnaround was fast. The quality of the final product was amazing.
Cons:
However, the editing options are limited once the file is uploaded and I had to make any changes in different software and then re-upload. Additionally, the trim areas have strict margin requirements and I had to be careful not to cut into my design. The fold in the middle also required extra attention to ensure that the content would be visible, especially when working with a book that has more than 50 pages.
