About REQCHECKER

REQCHECKER is a requirement management solution, which helps businesses create, verify and track traceability between documents and specifications. Features include full-text search, version control, impact analysis, proofreading, multiple data sources, automatic and custom checks.

The application enables users to capture and analyze source code data and documents in multiple formats such as pdf or excel. Buyers can create requirements with templates, custom attributes and automatic ID and extract custom tags and coverages to check coverage rate between offers. Users can check the requirement traceability between different systems and track statuses, quantifiable partial coverage, management rate and coverage rate. REQCHECKER also generates multiple reports such as markdown, Java enum, coverage PDF, and more.

REQCHECKER includes a check engine which helps runs checks on requirements title and text. The solution is available on a one-time license basis and support is provided via documentation and online measures.

Perfect tool for coverage docs

A coverage tool as configurable as this soft for the price is a good point.

Pros:

Very usefull to cover documents (even PDF). Even if there is no requirement, it is possible to cover chapters. You can also follow changes between two version of the doc. You can use it for specification, bids, tests. Write is easy with Word requirement helper.

Cons:

The new features can be long to come, but the dev team listen and always work for the next release.

This software enable the Requirement Based Engineering easily.

Cons:

My only regret it that it does not work on linux.

Pros:

Very easy to use, reqchecker has all the features needed to manage hundreds of requirement coverage during the writing of our proposals.

Cons:

Few features are missing such as the memory of the last directories or files used but the development team is very reactive to take care of suggestions in the next releases.

Reasons for switching to REQCHECKER

We used to work with Reqtify which is a great tool with lots of functionalities but we were not using 10% of them.

Dear Gilbert, thank you for the suggestion. The Recent Files List feature for projects (.cover files) has been added in version 1.10.3 :-) Please feel free to push change requests in the website, this helps a lot to guide the roadmaps.
