Treatwell is an essential tool for my business. Whether you are starting a new business or have an existing one, with Treatwell I have managed to grow my company within the last 6 months. Grow my team and get them busy at the same time. Using their booking software is so simple and helpful since all new clients that book through treatwell market will come directly to your treatwellpro system. You can manage all bookings directly from your phone app or using the cloud system on your PC. Stylist can also have their own log in and the app on theirs phones so it saves them time knowing what bookings they have coming up and prepare for their day .
Cons:
I like all the features of the system. Looking forward to new features and updates for the future

it would be great if the booking system could sync with our salon 1Q system so that we aren’t running 2 separate booking systems. or even an option to copy the calendar so it can be forwarded on to our receptionist when i’m not in the salon .

That it generates new business and brings clients to my business. However i do find the first time client percentage quite high as it usually means i make no profit at all (occasionally out of pocket) on the first treatment . This is ok if the client is returning but if they are passing through the city it’s not financially viable. Also it’s sometimes necessary to change an appointment time without this having an adverse effect on ratings as clients choose a time but it means i can’t fit somebody in before or after the treatment meaning it impacts how many bookings i can take.

Appointments made easy!

Overall a great experience. Treatwell digitalizes the tedious task of finding a place through web search and having to do all of the 'finding out whether it is a good place' in one overview. Therefore, I think it is absolutely a worthy application to use. However, it does tailor to more high-end services and the database they have may be limited depending on the country you live in.

Normally, I would have to Google for salons, then visit all of the websites separately, find the prices, and find an appointment at a time that suits me. I love how in Treatwell you have an easy overview of the different services near you. You can easily compare prices and schedule appointments based on a shop's availability. Happy to see such a tedious operation become digitalized.
Cons:
Treatwell tailors to, what seems, more high-end services. Therefore, the services seem to be at a higher price point than some places that are not in the customer database. In some cases, I also did not receive great service but still paid a high price due to the audience that Treatwell tailors to. Furthermore, the database that Treatwell has is quite limited in my country. I know that in other countries it may differ.

Clients think I work for treatwell

Connect is now very annoying with all bookings to check out and penalties for cancelling appointments even though client emailed me to cancel it.

It has a calendar online, that is about it.
Cons:
The whole process is standardised to a point where clients thinks that I am just a branch of treatwell salon and demand procedures done in other 'branches'. There is no option to block bookings without preparing or taking deposits, that is extremely annoying. Recently treatwell allowed cancellations in hours notice and no payment for those lost bookings made by not serious people. I can't block unwanted clients, another annoying thing. If treatwell wouldn't be that aggressive on on marketing to a point where competition on Google doesn't make financial sense, I would go away. Still, I dislike every moment I have to use it to make My Business going

Salons are the heart of our business and we are proud to have a diverse range of partners on the site. We aim to ensure that salons show their own identity through photographs, menu and the 'about' section. The new cancellation policy aims to help salons open up slots if a customer can't make an appointment. This means instead of a customer not showing up , they can cancel so that you are aware you will have a gap. We have also introduced the functionality that customers can reschedule, this means that instead of losing the booking, they will come to your salon at another time. With the new policy, you should encourage customers to cancel directly on the app if they are unable to attend , so that your 'successful bookings score' is not impacted. The software functions fairly well from the client booking side and the clients tend to be a good calibre.
Cons:
My least favourite part of the software is a lack in featured which sends clients marketing promotions, newsletter, events etc. Also there is very limited space to provide client history. It would be great if it could have client record cards, consultation forms and pre & aftercare forms to allow clients to complete online. The problem I have is because Treatwell is very basic here, it is not possible to intergrate with another diary system.

Overall I am a very happy Treatwell partner, and customer. (and also have managed to book some fab appointments for myself on there too!) I always highly recommend the system to lots of people! It's a no brainer, you need to be online and Treatwell certainly help you do that.

Its super easy to use, on the go and on laptop too. It has some really great tools and functions - customers can book with ease, and as a business owner you can manage everything in one place.
Cons:
There are some reporting tools that it still needs, some added features would be great such as consultation forms, deposit function but I feel that Treatwell evolve and add great features often.
