Great experience with Spendflo Tool

Before onboarding, we were a bit skeptical of Spendflo claims, but their 'Guaranteed Saving clause' made it an easy decision. Once we onboarded them, it helped us to a) find our exact SAAS exp, b) streamline the SAAS buying process, c) most importantly we were able to get 3X return on our Spendflo return as they helped us to weed out duplicate SAAS tools, negotiate hard with SAAS providers.

Good Negotiations & Procurement Support

Overall, have been very pleased with Spendflo. We don't need a workflow, so we don't use that product of theirs, but they've been trustworthy & accurate at our contracting needs, helping us negotiate some good deals & have had a significant positive impact on our small Procurement team.

Pros:

Spendflo has been very good with adapting to our needs / business environment. Instead of just a plug & play model, which many vendors force on you, they were open to amending the engagement model to be most productive for our situation. Additionally, they're very responsive as updates come through & seem to just need a single live meeting with the respective business partner to understand the requirements for the contract.

Cons:

I would like Spendflo to layer more data / comparable quotes into their conversations so we're aware of how good of a contract is on the table, given our particular volumes.

Pros:

The Spendflo staff is courteous and able to integrate as part of the team moreso than just a third party vendor. Spendflo is able to negotiate on behalf of our company seamlessly while negotiating what is best for our company. Spendflo also optimizes license counts and is a true check for spend optimization within our tech stack.

Cons:

The onboarding process took a few weeks longer than I would have liked and was a bit less automated than an end-state onboarding process.

As an IT Manager, my calendar is always a battle between strategy, firefighting, and decision-making. One of the biggest drains? Vendor evaluations, tool comparisons, and that never-ending back-and-forth of pricing negotiations. Spendflo changed that for me. They didn’t just assist, they owned the process. From shortlisting the right tools to getting me the best deals, they freed me up to focus on what really matters. I don’t just see them as a vendor; they’re my remote teammate who actually gets stuff done.

If I had to name one… I’d say they’ve set the bar too high for my other vendors There actually not much of downsides!

Spendflo takes the pain out of managing SaaS renewals. They bring benchmarking data, handle vendor back-and-forth, and give us clear options so we can make confident decisions quickly. Their team feels like a true partner, always proactive and aligned with our finance priorities. The time savings and negotiation leverage have been significant.

Cons:

Since Spendflo handles vendor communication directly, there are times when I’d appreciate more detailed documentation of the process. Having original quotes and proposals uploaded alongside their comments would make it easier for Finance to review and maintain a clear audit trail.
