Squares costs are up there!!

I like the concept of the square appointments app, and i love all the features, but i work hard for my money, so i just stopped using it.

I love that I can schedule classes and get have my clients schedule appointments via my website based on my Google schedule.

Cons:

I don’t like that a person can’t buy more than one ticket for a class but it’s not a game changer. It’s essential for my business.

All you need in one app

My experience has been very positive since switching from another app to Square Appointments. My clients still need to know that we have a new app, but most of them are delighted. From gift cards to discounts, it's easier to schedule appointments, and I really like the app's visualization via the link.

Square Appointments has absolutely changed the game for myself and my salon. It is so easy to train people up in and has enabled me to grow my business over 300% since being with Square since 2021.

Cons:

I actually can't put my finger on something I don't like. There are some features I wish it did have, but in true Square fashion, I know they will take our feedback on and do what they can to make it happen!

Square Up is an affordable Booking software for Service Providers

We've been with Square going on 4 years and in that time, we've seen a ton of new improvements and updates that have really simplified Appointment booking for us. We're all about automation to reduce the amount of manual admin work so we can focus on our craft and Square meets our needs!

Square Appointments is a great affordable option for service providers (hairstylists, tattoo artists, lash techs, tint installers...). In addition to handling booking for you, you can add on other subscriptions as needed so you have full control to customize the software as your business grows. They also have a robust Feature Request forum & beta program which shows how committed they are to making their products work across their customers needs.

Cons:

Other Appointment Scheduling platforms may have a few more niche-specific features - but that also comes with a significant added cost.

Square Appointments was easy to set up and use. I have a ton of SKUs and that took the longest. Services setup was easy. Online setup was easy. Getting clients to use the online booking was easy.

Square appointments is great for my little skincare studio and boutique. I like seeing all my appointments in one place. How easy it is for clients to book/change/reschedule themselves with an account. It was easy to incorporate my reports, marketing and social media with Square Appointments. Plus, I can check clients out from the calendar and keep track of all their previous purchase and recommendations in one place.

Cons:

I'd like more charting abilities and notes for clients' services.

the scheduling and appointment management is what I liked about using square. How easy it is to send invoices to customers for payments.

I least liked the bugs and issues with square and how the prices went up. It became a problem with using the app after the free trial.

Most businesses opt to not hire a secretary or receptionist. Square appointments fills exactly that position and still gives the owner/team ways to coordinate and manage the flow of their appointments.

Cons:

I do not have cons to report at this time for Square Appointments. Only down side would be a slight learning curve for new users, which is very minimal and to be anticipated with any new product.
