About AutoDS

AutoDS is a cloud-based dropshipping platform designed to help businesses manage orders and monitor changes in stock levels and product prices across different sales channels. Features include performance metrics, profit calculation, automatic price optimization and real-time update.

Using the dashboard, retailers can handle multiple stores, monitor active or untracked listings and calculate the number of orders placed through graphs. The solution lets users schedule bulk uploads, modify cost settings, and set up location and policies. It comes with a product monitor feature, which helps supervisors track product quantities on supplier listings, estimate shipping time, and automatically add source ID and SKU to uploaded items.

AutoDS offers integration with third-party platforms BlueCareExpress and HipShipper. It provides mobile applications for iOS and Android devices. The solution is available on monthly subscriptions and support is provided via live chat and documentation.

AutoDS Starter 400 Plan – Misleading Product Limits

I subscribed to the AutoDS Starter 400 Plan less than 30 days ago, expecting it to allow 400 product imports, as stated on the signup page. However, after importing just 65 products, I received an error stating that I had exceeded my subscription limit due to product variants. Upon reaching out to customer support, I was informed that my plan only allows up to 400 product variants, not 400 individual products. This distinction was not clearly communicated at signup page, and the wording is misleading. "400 Products" strongly implies the ability to list 400 products, yet the actual limitation on variations makes that number significantly smaller. For sellers making business decisions based on these details, such unclear phrasing creates unnecessary confusion and frustration. Because of this, I’m considering using the same service I currently use for my other eBay stores, despite the downside of manual ordering. I urge AutoDS to clarify its plan descriptions so sellers fully understand the limitations upfront.

"Automating eBay dropshipping saves a lot of time—once an item is imported, you don’t have to manage anything manually. Automation streamlines pricing updates, stock management, and order fulfillment, reducing human error and allowing for seamless scalability. It also enables real-time market analysis, ensuring competitive pricing and optimizing profit margins.

Cons:

The most frustrating aspect is misleading signup page, I select AutoDS Starter 400 Plan. While it claims to include 400 products import, it actually counts product variants separately. For example, a t-shirt with five colors and five sizes is counted as 25 individual variants instead of a single product. As a result, if each item has 25 variants, the plan only allows for 16 unique product listings—far fewer than expected.

Charged $248 Without My Consent – Worst Experience Ever

My experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. I tried their service for one simple month in July 2025, subscribed only to the small monthly plan, then paused my account. Months later, when I logged in to cancel it completely, I discovered that they had withdrawn an outrageous amount of 248.70 USD—for an annual plan I never accepted. I was shocked and disgusted. I immediately canceled my account to avoid more charges, and now I can’t even log in to discuss the issue with them. This situation feels dishonest, stressful, and extremely frustrating. I need this money back urgently. I never authorized such a payment.

Honestly, the only positive point was the idea of the service itself. The concept looked simple and useful when I tried dropshipping for one month back in July 2025. That’s it.

Cons:

Absolutely everything else. They charged me a huge annual fee I NEVER agreed to, even though my subscription was paused, and I had only subscribed to the smallest monthly plan. They withdrew 248.70 USD without my consent, without warning, and without any way to contact real support. And after I canceled my account out of fear of being charged again, I couldn’t access it anymore—making it impossible to resolve the issue.

Why i choose AutoDS

Though not perfect, this is the best software available that can help my dropshipping business immensely.

AutoDS takes care of the stock availability and product pricing change on the supplier's site which is very important to me. Saves me a ton of time and effort in monitoring when i have a few hundred products.

Cons:

Occasionally, AutoDS can't process orders automatically due to certain issues and i have to manually re-activate the auto order.

AutoDS is user-friendly and can monitor stock and price changes at regular intervals.

Their software cannot monitor stock change or price change of products in time.

Unreliable Monitoring System & Inadequate Customer Support

My overall experience with AutoDS has been disappointing due to its failure to deliver on critical promises, such as reliable stock and price monitoring. While the platform's basic features are beneficial, these serious flaws have impacted my business negatively, including unfulfilled orders and lost revenue. Despite numerous attempts to address these issues with customer support, the responses are largely templated and fail to offer real solutions. AutoDS compensated me for unrelated issues over a year ago and once before that, but recent efforts to get proper resolution or compensation for ongoing issues have been met with refusal. It feels like customer concerns are not genuinely valued.

AutoDS offers a user-friendly interface with a decent range of features for managing dropshipping activities. The automation tools for listing products and syncing stock initially seemed promising and helpful for scaling an e-commerce business.

Cons:

The stock and price monitoring service is unreliable. Despite AutoDS's claims of monitoring updates multiple times per day, there are significant discrepancies where items show as in stock on AutoDS but are out of stock or differently priced at the supplier. This has led to numerous unfulfillable orders and financial losses. Customer service responses are repetitive, templated, and not solution-oriented, even after extensive communication (over 90 emails related to one issue). Promises of monitoring improvements don't seem to align with actual results, causing ongoing frustration.

Pros:

Super user friendly. You can get answers to your questions by different channels. You can watch videos online, live-chat with an agent 24/7, email (get response within 24 hours), and even contact a mentor in the field. I would highly recommend it to anyone on any level. I am fairly new to this and they support me with anything! Thanks so much.

Cons:

Not having that much control on the sourced product from AutoDS. No access to Bill of Lading of the product, you can't return or refund the item, you don't have access to the supplier's info...

Reasons for switching to AutoDS

Because they only operate in the US, and I am in Canada and sell in Canada. And low marketplace choices too on Spocket.

At first, I was greatly impressed by customer support and their attentiveness, trying to clear all questions asked in-depth and to the client's full understanding. Then I was impressed with the features and even more with the honesty of the agents which presented not only the advantages but the challenges too.

Nothing. Didn't carry anything I needed and from the looks of reviews they steal form anyone who comes across their website. I signed up for the lowest free trial plan. Every time I went to do something a box popped up asking me to upgrade to the next plan- I mean it was after every click. So, I did it and it charged me for the upgraded plan (during a free trial) Never once did it say upgrading would cancel the free trial. They did refund me after treating me like it was a favor and kept $58 saying it was policy to keep some of the refund. I feel stolen from and like I was tricked into upgrading just so they could pocket some cash from me. I have sent in a complaint to BBB.
