With the feature of log management, our compliance reporting has become less cumbersome during audits due to the use of ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer . It is easy to use and can be operated through the menu bar for the main operations.​
Cons:
Some older firewall models are not covered in their entirety providing a restricted view across all the devices. . The compatibility has to be extended to improve the efficiency of the tool.​

I liked the historical log retention and reporting of Firewall Analyzer very much for audit and compliance purposes. I was able to trace incidents to direct IPs and ports in line with the time in which it occurred solving our internal and external audit needs.
Cons:
On a few occasions, the tool utilized for generating exports took a long time because of the large volumes of data regarding the history.

The audit trail functionality which is available with the ManageEngine Firewall Analyzer has been especially helpful in tracking the changes on the firewall. It gives a clear record if changes that have been made thus eliminating chances of misunderstanding or disagreement in case of an issue.​
Cons:
I observed that it was possible for changes to be omitted from the audit logs, especially where there were initial changes followed by subsequent enhancements, which would affect tracking.​

Firewall Analyzer’s rule usage analysis is the feature that got me incredibly involved because it helped in my work. I was successfully able to distinctly locate rules which were no longer in use thus help in policy cleaning of a Check Point firewall and in return enhanced performance and security.
Cons:
Extra feature is that the email alerting may resubmit the event alert in the alert list after the alert acknowledgement is made. This at times floods the mailbox and at the same time distracts mostly in focusing sharp on the topics.
