VIP Survey

I have enjoyed the program. I am working on trusting myself instead of second guessing myself with the program. The program has reduced the time for payroll prep a great deal.

Pros:

I am still familiarizing myself with the program; however, I have enjoyed the ease of moving from preparing payroll to going directly to the accounts payable to pay invoices.

Cons:

I am not a fan of the grids at this time. I am looking forward to learning more on how to use these at the conference. I believe if I understand them more I will be able to utilize better.

Satisfied customer

For the majority I am pretty satisfied with VIP. I think it is pretty easy to navigate. There are a few adjustments need for the software.

I like the ease of making mass changes and storing information within each payroll and each employee.

Cons:

More availability in the column chooser Past payroll registers or paystubs will pull in current wages instead of the wage from the time requested.

VIP—software designed for the user

Very good even though I never went through an official training period — I had to jump right in without guidance.

Very user friendly. I like the fact you can create reports, view them, and then print and or save them.

Cons:

There are features I don’t use that I probably would benefit from. Due to time constraints, researching different methods to achieve analytical or financial reports has not been completed.

Happy with VIP

Once trained, it's very easy to use. I really appreciate the customer support. It helps us get our payroll done and employee records.

Pros:

Very good support either via calling in a ticket or the online articles. I like the error messages as well. Very helpful.

Cons:

There are times that I think I'm done - like with Misc. Receipts - there is another level and it isn't very intuitive.

Everyone needs VIP!

I have had a very positive experience. The system is very easy to use. There is always a way to get what you need from VIP. The customer support is top notch, too!

Cons:

I wish it had a timekeeping component. I love the way VIP works and just want it to be able to do everything!

Going from Egov to VIP was a learning curve but the team we had helping us was great! From the weekly zoom meetings to answering any questions we had while we are practicing in the sandbox they were able to have us ready for when we went live.

Pros:

Going paperless was a big thing for us! Being able to give our departments more freedom to run there own reports with live information was also a great addition.

Cons:

The biggest issue for us was we had to do a complete chart of accounts renumber. VIP was great with helping us through and answering any questions we had it was just a huge adjustment for us to have to get use to.
