Simply the Best

The program is intuitive, and every time I need to do something different, I'm amazed to see that there's a way to do it! They are always incredibly upbeat, helpful, smart and pleasant to work with. In 5 years I have never had a complaint. Even on holidays with a non-emergency, someone has gotten back to me to help. If I'm not mistaken, I think all their customer service people run properties on their own and it gives them so much insight and understanding. They not only figure out what to do, but sometimes they send me a video where they actually show me what to do using my own info. I run 12 cabins in the mountains in Southern California and with Owner Rez, I don't even have to pay someone to handle the communications around bookings...OR takes care of everything. Sometimes I call them with such a pickle of a problem and they have an easy way to handle it. They're the best.

I did not like those platforms. They didn't help me and I felt like I was one of a million customers. I have no idea if it's true, but I feel like I'm special at OR. But I know i"m not...they are just real good at what they do.

Customer service is poor, it takes days to get replies to issues we have. Otherwise the software is reliable. Our bookings have been on the decline because of the state of the vacation rental industry, and OR isn't adapting to the changing landscape so we're unfortunately moving on to vendors that have more modern direct marketing and guest journey features. I find it ironic that OR is arguing in their support that integration with metasearch is a waste of time when we have ample evidence to the contrary.

This review says some things that are factually incorrect. "Google Hotels" is the same thing as Google Vacation Rentals from an implementation standpoint. The reviewer believes they are two different things, but he is incorrect. GVR is the "Hotels" version of STRs and Google prevents integration partners from listing STR properties as hotels. ie. OwnerRez is not allowed to integrate with the hotels side. Guests can update their email addresses directly (there is a POC and RA guest form for that). Customer support does not take days to get a reply unless the question requires escalation in which case there may be research time involved. Initial customer questions tend to average 24-36 hours average first-response time.

Excellent Support - Even for a Single Property Owner

Overall, my experience has been excellent. I can’t compare feature-for-feature with other PMS platforms because OwnerRez is the only one I’ve used, but I chose it after extensive research and I’m very glad I did. The combination of powerful functionality and genuinely outstanding support has given me confidence to run my rental professionally despite being a small, overseas owner. I would absolutely recommend OwnerRez to anyone looking for a property management system – especially if you value responsive, knowledgeable human support alongside robust software.

Part of that experience includes time spent at a world-class, five-star resort in Florida, where customer service is exceptional across every component of the organization. That combination of broad technical leadership and high service hospitality has given me a very high standard for both technology platforms and the teams that support them. Since initially working with OwnerRez, I have been very impressed. From an IT professional’s perspective, the consistently designed user interface makes the system almost self-explanatory. Workflows are logical, intuitive, and cohesive, allowing users to become productive quickly without sacrificing depth or control. By leveraging OwnerRez's built-in automation and artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities, I successfully implemented the system for a single property in less than a month. For a platform of this scope and flexibility, that timeline is exceptional. Equally, if not more important, are the people behind the software. Every support request I have submitted has received timely responses, and the support team has consistently been knowledgeable, helpful, provided options, and genuinely pleasant to work with. That level of reliability and professionalism is critical during both implementation and ongoing operations, when my focus must be on guests, not on administrative functions.
