Pros:

More features were added to enhance content creation. The mobile app works very well for me and it is tied in with my other go daddy platforms

Cons:

Just getting used to the new name makes it hard to find sometimes on my phone but if that’s my only issue, the the “cons” are just me, LOL

Excellent Content Creator Tool

Overall I would recommend the app. It makes content creation so much easier and a very seamless process. The app can really help you bring designs to life!

Pros:

I love the overall sleek and modern design! It’s super easy to edit photos and videos and create content. The possibilities are truly endless with all that Over has to offer. The app also allows for organization and ease of working on projects with teammates.

Cons:

I don’t like how the premium membership sometimes does not work. I continually have to refresh the app to get it to acknowledge my membership and I’ve reached out to us toner service with no response.

Canva was too glitchy and not easy to use on the mobile app.

OVER was great, GoDaddy Studio is not

With subscription media, I understand the risks if the company is bought or goes out of business. If, say, Amazon Prime shuts down, I will lose access to the movies I have "purchased" through them. Fortunately, I can access those movies through other means. With subscription design apps, they hold *your* copyrightable content hostage. This is my creative work, and I lose access to it unless I pay them. I was given this warning, so I paid...twice. I am owed $107.74 from GoDaddy Studio. I am on the hunt for another mobile design app. If you are a new user, not a legacy user from Over, your experience will probably be fine (until GoDaddy sells to another buyer). Download your projects often. I am spending the next number of hours doing so, to then delete the app.

Pros:

I started using this app when it was OVER. I loved its intuitive ease of use, the seamless integration of still and video, and the ease with which I could add graphics from their library. It also had good font selections, typical image editing, and blending effects. Overall, it was a great app with good resources!

Cons:

:: No way to batch-download your projects. :: Cannot access folders on the web version. :: Downloading video is slow; saving errors aren't uncommon. :: Linking of SSO logins with main account causes missing projects & issues with billing!! :: Issues with logging in began immediately after GoDaddy purchased Over. :: Customer service chat linked through the app, so when they would ask me to verify something from the app, i would get disconnected from the chat. It has been a very rocky transition since GoDaddy purchased Over. First, I lost several projects, and then logging in became a headache; being directed to use an SSO (Gmail or Apple) meant my projects were no longer all contained in one spot. Then, on Dec. 29, 2024, after using this app for ~4 years, I was prompted to repurchase my Pro subscription or lose all my work. So I did. Then I happened to check my Apple subscriptions only to see that my Pro subscription had previously been renewed on Sept. 29th. Contacting GoDaddy's customer service led to the same experience as another user: they said I didn't even have an account (I was chatting with them through their app that I was logged in to). Said that I paid apple, not them, so I needed to contact apple services. I've disputed the charges and am currently taking the day to download all my remaining projects and delete this app.

Over Not Under

My overall experience with the Over application has been extremely wonderful. I like that the app is easy to use, lightweight in file and allows you to upload custom images at no additional charge.

Pros:

The software product is relatable and very easy to use. The app has a number of features and designed that do not require a paid subscription. You are able to upload your own photos to use as background images. There are plenty of fonts included as well.

Cons:

The price of the subscription seems a bit high. Plus the subscription is ongoing either yearly or monthly so you need to have consistent needs for the application to receive a return on your investment. The learning curve of using the application can be a bit high in the beginning but it’s worth the hassle.

Reasons for switching to GoDaddy Studio

I felt that Spark had some limitations with fonts and design templates. I felt that Over was a bit more unlimited in the free version than Adobe Spark

GoDaddy is the place you go for your business marketing needs!

Hands down recommend this to anyone. I was able to design a lot of stuff for my small business and it came out looking very professional.

There is one thing that contradicts its ease of use. The overall quality of your product can get complicated for one-of-a-kind creations.

I love to create designs for any use. This app helped me become an amazing designer. I must pat us on our backs. Their featured features costs are under rated. They should cost way more considering the finished creation.

Cons:

I would love to have the capability to search out such dislike, but businesses call for budget management. Maybe one day!

Graphics Powerhouse in a Mobile Package

Over enables me to create strong, communicative visuals with consistent formats and branding. The projects function makes it easy to be consistent and keep up with a lot of graphics. The team tool makes it easy to collaborate when needed.

Pros:

Over makes combining graphic elements into compelling visual compositions quick and easy. The ability to save projects and share content makes the app the best mobile tool for long-term content creation.

Cons:

It’s not the apps fault, but the flexibility and power makes it easy to creat compositions that are huge, resulting in soMe files that are difficult to manage. Paying attention to dimensions and the number of layers solves the issue.

Upgrade your Social Media Game!!!

I have used this software on and off for about a year doing social media posts for myself personally, and some of the businesses in which I manage their social media accounts. I usually have a goal or reason for the post so I find a template that matches somewhat, change some things around and usually have a good post in less than 10 minutes, which created from scratch might have taken 20-30 minutes.

Create beautifully posts for social media, easy to use templates, a great list of stock footage and pictures.

Cons:

All the things I don't like are the limits of most mobile editors. There is just a limit on things you can edit and there isn't enough gray area. For example, I may want a specific text to animate a specific way and I "might" be able to get close, but at some point, you have to just let it be.

Easy to use, very intuitive!

With this app I can advance with my work when I'm not in the office, it's a nice way to save time.

Pros:

This app it's very simple to use, it's the only app I found until now that allows me to edit high resolution images for my business (4500 x 5400 pixels). Also, the app allows to export PNG when it's not necessary background in the images. When I'm not using the PC, with this app I can anticipate part of work.

Cons:

I would like to use an desktop versión. Another suggestion it's the possibility to reduce the price for countries where it's not used dollars currency.
