Effective Tool For Making Instructional Videos!

Simple yet beneficial! In the case of creating a project plan, it saves a ton of time. I use Zoom to record the meeting and cut out the necessary footage. Done! An essential tool for managers or team leaders.

It enables me to record the client requirements as they provide them and later on edit them accordingly. This provides a perfect notion for my team. Everyone gets a proper guide to it. Additionally ideal for creating instructional videos. I love using it since it works with numerous platforms and can be accessed online.

Cons:

It lacks several features necessary to provide more modern content. With time comes more competition, which calls for adding additional features.

Hippo Video was years ahead competitor in back then and still competes strong

I have bee using Hippo Video now 5+ years and they have managed to compete in the tough SaaS environment up to date. And I still don't have any other similar tool to make online recordings.

Pros:

I really do use Hippo Video when I need to record whole desktop or an online meeting. This has been like that for from 2018 when I started to use it. Recording is easy and video storage quota is huge. With a Chrome browser and Hippo Plugin+online logging, the recording works 99% when you don't record more than 1hour.

Cons:

Unfortunately long video recording somewhere about 90minutes are most likely to fail every time. This may be related to the HD full desktop recording, where the file size exceeds over one 1GB. Recording will stop and the file is lost or corrupted. This issue has been there since from the beginning and the support team hasn't been able to fix it at all. So a full online training day is still impossible to be recorded, unfortunately.If I record 1+ hour recording, I can't stop it and instantly make a new recording because the browser is still sending data to database and then processing recording. Processing may take about 15 minutes, so you can't record continuously.

Experience the Joy of Hippo Video

If you don't know Hippo, then you really should look at their website. I would not call it business problems what Hippo Video is solving, but it made my workflow immensely more structured and straightforward. I believe everyone will agree that the use of Video is a must in today's communication. Hippo Video is there to help you with sales, marketing, and support related tasks. There are different plans for these named categories, or you can choose to get a custom made Enterprise tier, which will hold whatever your business requires.

The first thing that comes to mind when someone mentions Hippo Video is excellent customer focus. It must be said. I had some, for me, challenging questions for a project I was managing. Boom. Sir, would it be convenient for you if we would set up a call and go over your specific use case? Well, yes. That gave me a good feeling about the product, purely due to the proactive attitude. I had still to setup Hippo Video, but I felt very confident it would work.

Cons:

Some parts of the user interface are not that clear at first glance. There is always room for improvement, and I did go over the, in my opinion, unlogical placement of individual elements. The team made notes of my feedback to discuss internally.

The ease of use is so much easier to grasp PLUS it's 10 times easier to create, edit, store, share and track your videos. In addition, you can screen capture, webcam capture or audio capture thus it allowed me to eliminate the need to use tiny screen capture + Zoom to create, edit, and produce videos etc. 1. Everything you need is all within the Hippo Video platform! Zoom can't touch this! 2. Easily create or record videos for free at the start of a button. It can be a screen capture, webcam capture or audio capture. 3. Free version allows you to record up to 10 minutes 4. Most important, great customer support-respond quickly!

Cons:

1. Hipp Video needs to do more marketing to get their name out. 2. They have a good product which I think is better than Zoom and has more bells and whistles to offer a subscriber. It's not being marketed properly to make people and businesses aware.
