    Telnyx is a great VOIP provider. I recently had my Twillio account hacked and yea that is an entriely different story. I heard of Telnyx since they first stared but never had a reason to switch unti now. They have a very beautiful platform that is great on the eyes, very great documentation and the customer support gets to you in a timely manner. Even though I have oly had a few issues, they were all resolved very fast to help me get started.
    Cons:
    Right now i do not have any complaints. That does mean I am saying telnyx is perfect but at the moment they are geat.

    I’ve been using Telnyx CPaaS for quite a while, and what I like the most is how intuitive and reliable the platform is. The dashboard is clean, easy to navigate, and makes managing numbers, calls, and messages simple. The support team is outstanding, they always respond quickly and provide clear, helpful answers. The setup and integration process were smooth, and everything just works as expected.
    Cons:
    There’s honestly not much to dislike. Occasionally, documentation could go a bit deeper for some advanced features, but the support team makes up for it by providing quick and precise help whenever needed.

    Telnyx L2 verification broken and support is unresponsive

    Cannot implement the features I need without Level 2 verification, which failed for no apparent reason. If I request it, I get a message that says ""User": You have already requested L2 verification. Please contact Telnyx support with any questions." I have attempted to contact support using the form on their website, which gets no response, and I have tried calling the support number 4 times so far. Each time, I wait for 10-15 minutes, listening to hold music while being told that "we have a higher than normal call volume" and "your call is very important to us", before eventually being dumped into a voicemail box. After being dumped into the voicemail box, you can leave a voicemail if you would like to, but just know that Telnyx will neither act upon your voicemail nor will they return your call.

    The IOT SIM card and SIP signalling works well, and the API documentation seems good. It would be nice to be able to use the features of the API
    Cons:
    Telnyx has no support capabillities. They do not respond to the "contact us" form on their website and they do not answer the phone when you call the customer support line. Eventually, you can leave a voicemail, which they will neither act upon nor will they return your call.

    My overall experience has been extremely positive. Telnyx provided the critical, scalable infrastructure that made our custom AI voice agent project feasible. It successfully bridged the gap between traditional telephony and our modern, containerized application stack (n8n, Docker). Despite minor challenges in navigating the extensive documentation for advanced use cases, the power, reliability, and developer-centric tools provided by the platform are exceptional. We were able to get a secure, production-ready voice integration running in a fraction of the time it would have taken otherwise.

    The developer-first approach is by far the best aspect. The Voice API is incredibly robust and well-documented, allowing us to seamlessly integrate it as the core telephony layer for our custom, self-hosted AI agent. The ability to control call flows with simple webhooks and the inclusion of critical security features like signature validation made it the perfect choice for our complex, event-driven architecture
    Cons:
    While the documentation for core features is excellent, finding information on debugging some of the more advanced webhook interactions and AI-specific command behaviors took some time. The portal is powerful, but navigating to find specific settings within the vast feature set can have a slight learning curve for new users.

    Cons:
    While our overall experience with Telnyx CPaaS has been positive, one area that could be improved is the maintenance of their PHP SDK. We've noticed that it doesn't always seem to be kept fully up-to-date. For example, the most recent commit at the time of writing introduced a change that incorrectly set the baseApiUrl to localhost for testing purposes. This oversight wasn't removed before the commit was finalized, which means that anyone integrating the SDK currently needs to manually override this setting in their code to ensure proper functionality. While this hasn't been a critical blocker for us, it does introduce an unnecessary extra step in the integration process and suggests that the PHP SDK might not be receiving the same level of consistent attention as other aspects of their platform.

    Infobip wasn't nearly as reliable as Telnyx in VoIP communications. It often happened that one of the participants couldn't hear the other or calls were not even connected at all.

Modern, intuitive UI – Clean design and easy navigation make it miles ahead of many other CLEC platforms. Clear, developer-friendly API documentation – Testing requests right from the docs? Game changer. It saves time and makes integration seamless. Pricing that’s actually competitive – In an industry full of bloated pricing, Telnyx keeps things sharp and reasonable. Strong porting experience – LOA generation and the porting workflow are solid and reliable.
    Cons:
    Weekend support – Response times can lag if there’s an emergency outside of business hours. That said, CC’ing our rep usually gets things moving. SMS activation lag post-porting – There’s sometimes a delay in full provisioning, which can be a bit frustrating. Routing issues with small rural carriers – We’ve had a few edge-case routing problems, especially with lesser-known rural providers.

    Very great AI Assisstant

    My business problem is the high cost of a real human agent to handle phone calls. Telnyx provides AI Assistant assistance, which is much cheaper.

    The first time I registered with Telnyx, I immediately tried the AI ​​Assistant. I didn't expect Telnyx's AI Assistant to produce agent assistance that closely resembled a real human. Moreover, there are many models to choose from, ranging from those directly connected to Telnyx to those connected via API. They also include connections to other voice providers like elevenlabs, although I'm still trying out the voices provided by Telnyx.
    Cons:
    At first, I had difficulty accessing the usage history for each AI Assistant call I tried. It was a bit tricky to find. It required more effort for a beginner like me. However, the assistance provided by agent Aatif in the chat box was very helpful.
