My favorite web builder!

I loved using Showit for my site & will likely return at some point. My website had never looked so good! And customer service was always great. Showit is a top tier website builder!

Pros:

How many amazing templates there are & how it’s truly so customizable to any industry!

Cons:

It can be difficult to edit - even small edits took me a long time some days. But it was t impossible by any means!

Pros:

Showit is so incredibly versatile, the builder works very intuitive and easy. Building a website used to be a pain, but it's great fun with Showit! They really changed the webdesign game.

Cons:

Now that Showit has a lot of users, customer service is a bit slow to respond sometimes.

A disappointing drag and drop editor for the masses

It was a generally negative experience. Messing around dragging elements up, down, left and right in a relatively small and uncomfortable workspace was very stressful indeed. Doubling the workload (desktop + responsive) a huge negative. It's priced from near $30 monthly and they push for annual payments. For that money, i'd advise you to buy a few books on how to code or pay for a course online.

Pros:

Show It has a pretty interface, of that there is no doubt. It's clear what it has the potential to do...

Cons:

Under the hood it's just a generic drag and drop website editor. Show It is for non-coders (and such people shouldn't even be making websites anyway). If you want precision as regards positioning, definitely look elsewhere or you may well spend hours trying to line up everything. The most annoying aspect is that you have to edit the responsive version separately from the desktop version. Ok, Wix is the same, but you just can't beat media queries in good old CSS. Page load time was slow, as was the time it took to publish changes.
