An very good CAD software that allows you to create everything you need.

The most important thing of this product is the lightweight characteristic, you can load BIG models without loose performance like others and the usability is not compromised by the weight of the software itself.

Pros:

This software is a great option to create new models in 3D and 2D, depends on the version you adquiere. In any case, the software gives to you a lot of functionalities in a lightweight product. All the characteristics of any CAD software, are present in ZW, and many functionalities that make it unique and powerfull. The independent features that the software have, gives a plus at the moment when you are going to buy a CAD software. I used some others CAD and this have a great performance and usability in contrast to the others.

Cons:

Is very similar in the interface to others products, despite of the additional characteristics, the structure and usability is basically the same, it is aimed to give to the user a common user interface, but sometimes is TOO similar to others products.

It is an excellent software for mechanical design, 2D and solid drawings, has good technical support

In the mechanical engineering department of the university in which I work, designs and modeling of mechanical parts are made for the process of rehabilitation in medicine, which has been achieved and modeled some of these pieces for later construction, making a contribution with patients with special conditions that require specific prostheses.

Pros:

I like the intelligent voice system, the smart mouse system and the synchronization with smartphones and tablets through cloud storage.

Cons:

What I do not like that for the design of mechanical systems is very efficient only in 2D (two dimensions) and slow drawings for the development of 3D applications.

Good 3D software with a low price tag

I used ZW3D when working in Tool and Die design, and also used the sheet metal module which worked very well. We had some issues when defining (in assembly) a fastener, creating the pocket for the bolt's head in one component and the thread in another, later when we modified the position of the fasteners the update of the other features had some issues.

Pros:

It's easy to use, the GUI is very intuitive and nice. Compared to other CAD softwares, ZW3D has focused on reducing the number of inputs by the user when creating features, it has some shortcuts that are very helpful and intuitive to use. the hybrid (part/assembly) environment works well and gives the user some more freedom. The possibility to create a standard component is very useful.

Cons:

When in assemblies, setting dependencies between parts can cause some problems when modifying and updating. Sometimes the software would crash without apparent reason.

Easy to learn, powerful modeling kernel, and CAD, CAM, MOLD all in one.

Hybrid Modeling makes my design job more flexible. Mold design module is easy to use, save half my time spent on this area. CAM plan does help me make my work more applicable.

Modeling function is amazing, operations don't care about if the base is solid, making modeling job more flexible and easy. Most 3D Modeling software for Manufacture can't do this. the modeling become a more productive job. you can do a full process from concept design to CNC machining seamlessly. as a designer, this really benefits a lot. you may think you can do anything with this software.

Cons:

there are no advanced functions like smart component, VBA, global visibility manager. HELP document doesn't cover all the functions. sometimes you get confused but can't get help with the software itself.

Pros:

This is an excellent software that is used to create 2D and 3D models. This software includes a lot of functionalities. It also depicts the characteristics of CAD software in a best way. It shows excellent performance as compare to other. This software is very easy to learn.

Cons:

We can hardly find any cons in this software. The only limitations is that this software lacks some of the advanced functions that includes smart components, VBA and global visibility manager and sometimes user have to face difficulties as help documents do not include all the functions.

Great tool for the Money

It is a Pro/Engineer or Creo clone. Its got a bunch of capabilities. It can do sheet metal surfacing. It's amazing.

Cons:

User interface needs some help. The interface seems clumsy/clunky - not easy to find commands or alternative commands. Help files are ok and could use a lot of work.

Reasons for choosing ZW3D

Fusion has some issues I don't like in sketching. Alibre - wouldn't allow the use of a conical edge in a sketch.

ZW3D is a good integrated CAD/CAM

The software is good for regular jobs. For big automotive and airospace parts may be slow. CAM for 3 axis is good but for 4&5 axis only for some jobs can be used.

Pros:

I use ZWCAD Classic full version for private purposes and I can say that it is probably the closest AutoCAD I use at work, I installed the ZW3D trial version and for now I have no comments in a lot of things is simpler than Civil3D and other Autodesk plugins

Cons:

So far I have no bad comment,I do not know what the price was and gave it has an option on a monthly base

Although complex editing methods are unlimited and can be accurate to translate into a CNC G-code program, saving formats help the user in production and in developing 2D-3D activity!

Cons:

Part of the software is not simplified for less experienced users, commands contain referrals to other commands, and work in production implies rapidity to the finished product!
