Accounting made easy. Delightful

I have used Iris for a 4 years now and I think it is a very through and easy accounting package. Never thought it would be this simple to manage a company accounting.

Pros:

It is a great tool for smaller accountants, and given IRIS's experience, if you know how to use the suite it will help an accountant produce a set of accounts (Limited, Sole Trader, Charity etc.)or a tax return with ease. The data screens are intuitively laid out and help you get your accounts disclosures right.

Cons:

It can occasionally crash for no reason. Also it can sometimes be painfully slow to generate a set of accounts, when more modern, cloud-based software can generate it instantaneously.

Excellent for payslip management

Pros:

I use this service on a monthly basis for viewing my payslips provided by my employer, the service is easy to use and the email notifications are super helpful and act as an excellent reminder to log in and check my latest payslip.

Cons:

The design of the portal is a little dated but I much prefer functionality over design.

It is eco friendly due to being paperless. It is also easy to download a bulk set of payslips, useful if you need the past x months of payslips for something like a mortgage.

Cons:

The website is a little bit dated in its look and feel.
