FYIsoft

From day one we were able to get financials statements out. The few times we have had questions or problems FYIsoft has had us back up and running the same day.

Pros:

As a former FRx user I appreciate the ability to drill down into the detail. I produce financials for over 30 managers on a monthly basis and once I was able to show them they could drill all the way down into the detail they were answering their questions themselves or at a minimum focusing their questions more. Our CEO loves that he can get his financials over any device, including his phone.

Cons:

It really has no printing functionality

Reasons for choosing FYIsoft

We actually purchased a different package before hearing about FYIsoft. We were having issues with the setup and the number of organizations we had in our reporting. We spent 3 months and went through 4 consultants before finally being told the system we had purchased wouldn't do what we wanted. After seeing FYIsoft are troubles were over.

It was no longer supported and very unstable

User-friendly software that generate financial reports in minutes.

Cons:

Not able to select all children when clicking on a parent. It is a minor issue and I am positive that this suggestion will be incorporated into the next FYIsoft software upgrade in the near future.

FYIsoft Reporting is most suitable for our organization and has the best features and user interface.

Reasons for switching to FYIsoft

FRx software is not longer suitable for our needs. Took at least an hour to generate a large financial report.

Marley Management FYISoft Experience

Standardized over 150 partnerhsip reports (Cash Flow) that are generated monthly on schedule; customized reports to mirror tax returns to speed review at tax time; ConnectFYI works fantastic to allow real-time reporting once transactions are posted in Sage 300.

Pros:

Easy to use, extremely FAST, very similar to FRx which we used prior to FYISoft. The ability to combine Row, Column and Organization definitions to create reports is extremely important in that it allows our Company to standardize reporting for similar Companies. We report on Partnerships, C-Corps, S-Corps, Non-Profit entities as well as Trust Companies. FYISoft allows us to custom design Board as well as Tax reports that in many cases mirror the tax return being prepared creating significant review efficiencies. ConnectFYI works fantastic to allow real-time reporting once transactions are posted in Sage 300.

Cons:

Being a browser based application, we sometimes have issues viewing larger Organization definitions. Part of that is due to the large number (>200) Companies that need to be defined for some of our consolidating reports. We would like a better ability to scroll to see all defined Companies rather than having to use a combination of scrolling and changing browser magnification for large Organizations

Reasons for choosing FYIsoft

Product works with Sage 300. Also similar to FRx in design, function and use plus ability of FYISoft team to convert all our 3,000 + financial reports with minimal issue.

Reasons for switching to FYIsoft

Microsoft ended partnership with Sage software to continue integration between the software. We desired a solution that had features like FRx in order to expedite conversion of over 3,000 financial reports that we used to manage over 200 Companies as well as expedite training for users
