Peace of mind. All data backed up, synced with GDrive. Platform UI is so clean and easy to navigate. Just discovered that the platform almost mirrors our Apps UI. TOP

Asana backups with confidence

Asana doesn't have proper backups, they have JSON "takeout" which is clumsy and does not export all data. Pro Backup fixes that and is inexpensive (especially compared to Asana itself).

It just works, point it to Asana installation and it grabs the data and backs it up. Especially good for the peace of mind is the ability to back up to Google Drive.

Cons:

While the UI is modern, it's not too intuitive. On the other hand, you set it up only once, so it's not much of a problem.

Reasons for choosing ProBackup

They were missing one of the following: - foreign storage support (lock into another vendor, we already have our data in Asana's cloud, I need control over it) - fully automated backups (exporting to CSV/JSON by hand? really?!)

Nothing, since it didn't work at all. Trying to restore a project gave me errors that support couldn't fix.

Cons:

Service was non-existent. Replied once to my request then ghosted me without fixing the issue.

Easy set-and-forget peace of mind

Set and forget. Reasonable price. No issues at all. Can see where the backups are and are being updated daily.

Cons:

It appears that while I was getting "Google Drive" backups under my previous plan, and could see them working, this wasn't grandfathered in when their plans changed, so I appear to have lost that feature. Not a huge issue for me.

Would Recommend as a Podio Backup Solution

Will has been great to work with since the beginning of us engaging with his company many years ago. While backup systems are not exactly "exciting" with lots of fancy features to tout, it is reassuring to know that we have a contingency in place if someone accidentally deletes important data from our Podio system.

I like the "set it and forget it" nature of this product. It runs silently in the background protecting our important information.

Cons:

Super easy and fast setup (less than 5 mins) -- works beautifully!

Easy and fast setup. Zero "maintenance" needed. Easy to restore data (which I've had to do twice due to deletion mistakes from co-workers). Absolutely love ProBackup!

Extremely easy and fast to set up. Very intuitive interface. Great way to get instant comfort of knowing data is backed up without needing any advanced technical skills. Using for Asana and Github. LOVING it!

Cons:

Needs to clarify that "restoring" data to Asana doesn't mean restoring the original projects/tasks. It means restoring a copy of the data, which is definitely helpful, but comes with important nuances that are critical for advanced users to understand -- e.g. @mentioned tasks and projects will now have new IDs. But, I don't see any better way to do it, and it gives enormous comfort knowing the data is preserved, so I'm a very happy customer nonetheless.

Ease of us was a big factor. We signed up, connected our Clickup Workspace and let 'er rip. Daily backups for piece of mind at a great price.

Cons:

Nothing really. It does exactly what its supposed to do. If I had to pick something, it would be the ability to migrate data from Clickup over to Asana, Jira, etc but that is not the purpose of this software anyway.

Works as promised. Constant improvements over time and fast support. After some time to get used to the UI the work with pro Backup is easy and works perfekt for us.

The peace of mind it gave me. If something happened to our ClickUp we would lose so much information and it's nice to know that we had a backup.

Cons:

I didn't like the spreadsheets I feel like it's hard to read. I would be cool if they fed into something similar to clickup that you could take notes or change statuses etc.
