About AutoMeasure

AutoMeasure is a cloud-based takeoff software that helps businesses measure commercial, hotel, and retail chains, office campuses, hotel chains, and HoA, among other properties. It enables estimators and account managers to bid on landscaping, snow, ice management, paving, and multi-site facility maintenance jobs with takeoffs generated on aerial imagery.

AutoMeasure allows users to enter the property address, confirm the lot boundary, and approve takeoff accordingly. For multi-site bids, teams can submit a list of addresses at once from within a unified platform. The mobile application lets businesses add notes and images to the sitemaps as well as document and geotag real-time site conditions.

AutoMeasure automates blueprint takeoffs for landscaping, hardscaping, irrigation, and paving construction projects. Users can upload the blueprints, define the scope of work, and access takeoff reports according to requirements.

Game Changer

Pros:

The ease I’ve experienced moving from manual measurements to auto measure is unreal. I’ve cut down my labor in heaps and we’re now bidding at least 3x as many properties with ease.

Cons:

Our estimating process was a little complex and getting it set the right way did take a little time. If there was a way to customize our default output on Accelerate the way we could on Attentive, it would make things much easier.

NOT Artificial Intelligence

Waiting 40+ hours for parking lot measurements makes me feel this service is being outsourced to 3rd world labor who manually measures the parking lot themselves using existing imagery then compiles a pdf report. No part of this experience makes me feel artificial intelligence is used. I feel this is a marketing tactic to capitalize on the Artificial intelligence trend.

Measurements seem accurate. PDF report is nice to provide to customers but wait time destroys any perks.

Cons:

I don’t believe any aspect of this service uses artificial intelligence. If artificial intelligence is truly used the requested once submitted would be instantaneous or at a minimum completed within a hour.

Good but I wish it was great. Lacks flexibility and the help or chat feature is worse than most.

The accuracy of the takeoffs and the ability to utilize AI.

Cons:

Lack of ability when editing and the inability to change a boundary. Inability to change colors or edit when using "measure" and "label". Inability to delete a property feature without clicking on each marking of that feature in the takeoff. I should be able to delete for example "Regular parkng stall count" without clicking on 122 parking spaces. The help feature lacks clarity, lacks customer focus, and makes the customer work around things instead of providing solutions that make it efficient. I want you to meet my needs, not tell me to use it as is and make it work.

The amount of time saved for our estimating has been reduced by at least 75%. The process is pretty straightforward and results are back quickly. While it is not perfect, it has definitely proved to be very cost effective.

Incredible time savings for estimating landscape maintenance jobs. The ability to get multiple properties measured in a short period of time is game changing.

Cons:

Some areas are marked incorrectly (turf vs. mulch) for example. It does not delineate seasonal color beds. Website could be a bit more user friendly.

Everything has been great, the team is responsive the software is extremely beneficial and is constantly growing and changing with us to fit our needs.

Attentive AI - AutoMeasure makes it easy to manage large portfolios with a lot of sites.

Cons:

This is a newer program so the Attentive team is learning as we are learning. Sometimes there are limitations to the way we can submit information, record information and access and alter existing information, but the team has worked with us constantly updating the software and working with out company to make it more user friendly.

Efficiency along with saving time and money

We have been using Attentive over 2 years, it has provided more efficiency and, in some cases, changed our decision to bid or not. We are always working around snow falling on areas we need to see and measure but Attentive can assist, and it can be the difference on whether or not we bid on a property.

The convenience, how quickly the estimate is turned around and assistance when snow is already on properties, we want to bid but had trouble measuring before during snow season.

Cons:

It's not a perfect estimate but does come very close. We still have to review the beds to be sure it's been estimated for mulch or could be something else there and the tree counts always need to be looked at, as well.
