About Kangaroo

Kangaroo is a cloud-based loyalty and marketing management platform designed for retail businesses of all sizes that offers membership management, corporate memberships, gift cards, loyalty management, and analytics within a suite.

Kangaroo loyalty program management program, allows users to reward customers based on their visits or spending. Customers can earn and redeem reward points by scanning a QR code from the Kangaroo app. Users can also award points to customers who purchase specific items.

Kangaroo's loyalty marketing program empowers users to design targeted campaigns based on customer tags such as location and monthly spending. The solution also allows users to send messages to customers nearby the shops based on their geographical location.

With the help of an analytical dashboard to track key customer metrics, users gain an understanding of customers' shopping behavior and are better equipped in making decisions regarding customer handling practices.

Support has been wonderful and available.

Overall Kangaroo has been easy to use and support has been excellent. The integration with Lightspeed e-com and pos has worked and now that we have moved our e-com platform to Shopify it is working there as well and also integrates well with Judge.me reviews so that our customers can continue to earn points when they review our products.

The support has been amazing. Very quick to respond and very quick to fix issues or explain technical things easily. Very friendly and always eager to help.
Cons:
I would like to see the beta portal become the only portal to use. There has been some confusion with our staff because some members are using the old portal and some are using the beta.

Good platform to keep the customer engaged. Simple to use interface, great value for the investment. If you don't have a reward program as part of your marketing and retention strategy, then you will lose them to the competitor that does offer it.
Cons:
As of now, there is no option in two-way communication. You can send messages, but can't receive any. Other than that, I have no complaints

Cons:
Honestly, nothing major to mention—any small questions we’ve had were quickly resolved thanks to the support team. We had a few issues with the in-store tablet in the very beginning, but all were resolved.

Both [sensitive content hidden] have been a great help. Even when I get one of them on the chat help box, they are willing to call instead of chat which is going the extra mile. Very attentive customer service and its apparent they want to make sure the program is made how we want it!

Honestly, the product is user friendly and very customizable. The staff is very friendly, knowledgable and available. They come up with solutions and workarounds, making the app very customizable for something that is not custom made. They never make you feel like you are annoying or bothering them.
Cons:
I would like for the app to allow for multiple rewards to be redeemed in one transaction. I would also like the option not to log out automatically after a transaction. The reporting is not the best and some info is divided between the old portal and new.
