Powerful Data intelligence software

Overall it is really helpful for us regarding the data mapping. It also helps to process high volume of data during the integration with ETL models and post which it helps for data discovery with better data quality , less risk and better privacy.

Pros:

The major use case for my team is for data discovery and data mapping. We use it on weekly basis while creating data sets. Data discovery feature helps us to manage meta data and make it visible and discoverable easily. It provides an overview of flow of data via visual representation which helps me and my team to create better data models for ETL process with improved data quality and better decision making

Cons:

At times it gets difficult to understand due to lack of UI. User interface can be improved with better customization and features

Pros:

Automates the process of Data Governance decreasing human intervention which also makes it faster than manual. Also is easy to integrate with Cloud storage services and Data Lakes, which enhances its usability, going further it is scalable as the data grows large along with good tools providing privacy to data that needs to be secured from the outside world.

Cons:

Cost is a concern as everybody would not be able to pay the price and would be nice with some monitoring capabilities with a simple dashboard/reports providing some informative analytics.

Pros:

The most impactful to me is the Data Catalog feature as it provides a comprehensive view of the organisation’s data assets including definitions, owners, lineage and relationships.

Cons:

In my opinion using Collibra may not be very intuitive or straightforward for a new user. Though the company had provided training modules through Collibra university for ease of learning.

データの属性（メタデータ）をたくさん登録できる。

Cons:

メタデータや描画したいデータリネージの数が多いと、手作業が多すぎて工数がかかってしまう。例えば、メタデータの登録と更新、データリネージの作成と描画に最も時間を費やさなければならず、他のガバナンス作業に手が行かなくなるほどです。また、データリネージの挙動も遅く、あまりきれいに描けないこともよくあります。

There are many features, but there are better ways to spend your money especially with regards to data governance.

Cons:

The implementation costs are not well explained or quoted, the implementation is not out of the box like other competitors, costs do not outweigh benefits in most cases, and customer service is allocated based on total quoted cost.

Pros:

I find the Business Glossary and Data Catalog features immensely useful as it helps answer questions regarding the data, it's source, who uses it, who owns it, where it is sourced from etc. which eventually helps me with the analysis.

Cons:

Collibra can be a bit tricky to use for new users as it requires considerable amount of time to get upto speed with this tool.
