About INxSQL

INxSQL Distribution by Integrated Inventory Solutions provides an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system for distributors of multiple sizes. It is designed for wholesalers, manufacturer’s reps, distributors, industrial resellers and manufacturers. INxSQL can be deployed on-premise or in the cloud and is compatible with Windows 7, 8 and 10 and Mac OS. Users can also access INxSQL data on their mobile devices.

Functionalities include a sales suite that features customer relationship management (CRM), counter sales, drop shipments and support for integrated business-to-business or business-to-customer web sales.

The product’s inventory management features let users see inventory at multiple locations, and they can update prices and inventory counts. INxSQL also supports lot traceability and rework operations.

INxSQL features a purchase and sales order module that supports demand management and order management. Users can create purchase order worksheets to help keep up with inventory requirements. Users can also set priority purchase and sales order statuses to expedite.

The ease of use of this program made learning and mastering and teaching it so simple.

Cons:

Sometimes its buggy but I believe the times it seemed buggy, it was a server issue.

Solid Software With Great Customer Support

There are several very strong software packages available for distribution companies out there. For our business, InxSQL was the clear choice. It was the right feature set at the right price backed by a top tier support group, and continues to serve our business well today.

Pros:

For companies in Industrial Distribution (especially Fastener Distribution), InxSQL is very simple, lightweight, and easy to learn. The software is modular and the process flow of each module is consistent. This allows users to train on (and master) new tasks in the software quickly using the same principles learned on previous modules. The interface is clean and simple, well laid out, and not distracting. Keyboard shortcuts abound, making it easy to access information and complete repetitive tasks more quickly. Reporting options are robust in each module of the software. Customizing the stock reports is quick and easy with a GUI report designer built in as well as the capability to add custom reports using the included Report Writer. InxSQL uses Microsoft SQL Server as its back end and has a very logical table structure, allowing ODBC to be used to create an unlimited array of custom reports using Crystal Reports, MS Access, etc if that is your preference. Customer support is bar none the best I have with any software I run in my data center. I get a real person on the phone with each call, and every issue I have had has been addressed with the appropriate level of priority. InxSQL listens closely to their user base and works very hard to improve the software and add new features in each successive release. I have not worked with a more attentive software developer when it comes to enhancement requests and problem resolutions. On the rare occasions when custom programming has been required for my company, the charges have been very reasonable and each custom addition is well integrated into the existing software.

Cons:

Our company migrated to InxSQL from an AS/400 based software in 2010. Since going live, there have been very few negatives experienced that have not been addressed or are not currently in the process of being addressed. So, I guess if I have to list a con, it would be: It's not freeware? :-)

Some useful features. It does work... Kinda. You can run a business using it but there are so many alternatives which are cheaper and better.

Cons:

Poorly designed. Very hard to use. Not intuitive. Outdated GUI, design, technology. Okey customer support but you constantly need to call them because the software is not doing its job.

Pros:

Inxsql is a master tool at running and conquering all of our duties in a fully integrated suite. It is the most easy-to-use software we have come across that offers a complete package from A-Z. Tiled windows and click through options from module to module allow you to stay up to date with what is going on in detail. Batch processing allows for review and corrections before posting--catching human errors before they are finalized saves tons of time on the back end. Additions include website/web store integration, inventory management with handheld devices, customer service tracking, and more. Format customization puts what you want in front of your customer in the way you want it to look--allowing for branding across all departments.

Cons:

Slim to none - sometimes upgrades can take more time than you would have liked. However, in comparison with other companies we have used-1 didn't allow any upgrades suggested by customers and the other charged you per minute to even speak about them...

Normal SQL product with Exceptional Service

To start, we must acknowledge that any SQL product is going to be missing something that another one has or have something that another one doesn't. With INxSQL, you get a product that fits that bill, but service that goes beyond. They are willing to make the program changes needed based on the suggestions and requests of the customer. And each year, they bring a good amount of their users together to discuss their individual issues and the issues that they face as a group of users. And improvement are made. All anyone can ask for is a solid product that is able to improve as technology improves and needs increase. INxSQL does that.

Inxsql is amazing

Our company transitioned to Inxsql 6 years ago and the Inxsql team worked very diligently to ensure that our data was transferred without any loss and were always available to get us through any learning hardships as we started the journey. Not only did we get a great software, we also received a great support team. Our company is continually learning new industry practices and have always been able to count on this software to be current or ahead of the standards. We have learned so much about these practices and have been able to improve our day to day business operations due to the ease of use and communication with the Inxsql support team. I highly recommend this software package.

Very user friendly software with very helpful support team. This is a great all in one package for running all of our business operations. Their commitment to continually improve and listen to the users is very refreshing.

Cons:

In listening to our employees, the only cons I have heard of is that the Accounts Payable module is not as detailed as all the other modules.

Best User Friendly Software for wholesale distributors

We are a small company with no dedicated IT person and Inxsql has been invaluable to our business so we can focus on our business and not software. Inxsql has been a great business partner and we value our continuing relationship.

Pros:

Very easy to use - It is intuitive and it doesn't take us long to train new employees which is a time saver! Reporting is very good and fairly easy to learn how to generate specialized reports. All clients benefit from the continuing enhancements and improvements so there is no need to keep paying for an "upgrade". Customer service is top-notch with quick replies and you get a live person who knows the software!

Cons:

Nothing is perfect and the Pros outweigh the cons 100 to 1 and to complain about something minor is not worth the effort.

Beacon brought INxSQL on back in 2008 as our primary ERP and we have never looked back! The software is extremely easy to use, reporting is vast and the inventory analytics has changed the way we do business. You are not going to find a finer support staff or a better system for your distribution company than INxSQL - especially at this price point!

Cons:

I guess if I had to find a con...I do not like the way reports drop into excel. Also, I highly recommend having a person on staff that is familiar with building SQL based queries for customized reports - this was a game changer for us.
