- The speed of service when first responding to issues - Enthusiasm to keep the project moving

Cons:

- Possibly sometimes the level that communications are aimed at is too high for me (eg. there will be too much unexplained jargon that I don't know as someone who isn't an expert in the backend processes which we're paying Transalis to deliver)

Reasons for choosing Transalis EDI

The price was one of the lowest (although not the very lowest), the sales presentations were tailored to us, I was confident that our account would be important to Transalis in a way it wouldn't at larger providers, I was confident Transalis could provide the service they had promised

The provider had ongoing issues in providing the service they had signed up to provide which they were unable to fix.

Solid EDI integrator for any growing business

Transalis have built reliable integrations for our business which have comfortably handled thousands of orders from our retail partners. Customer service could be better but is just fine.

Pros:

Their integrations are reliable and have processed thousands of orders for us. If you have experience in setting up and working with EDI integrations the setup and maintenance is relatively painless.

Cons:

Set up can be very slow if you don't have experience. If their developers hit an obstacle you're left to your own devices to figure out the problem. Transalis do this day-in-day-out, so I'd expect them to also offer suggestions and support when this happens. On one occasion we missed some critical data during a product catalogue update and instead of warning us, they uploaded it anyway and waited for the ensuing mess. Our fault technically, but I would have expected more proactive customer service from a firm which is supposed to be our EDI integrations expert.

The flexibility and adapatability of Transalis, allows us to take on any client, regardless of their integration type - we always know that they can deliver!

Cons:

Sometimes, it takes a little longer than expected to delivery a integration project. But on the flip side, its mostly because their dev team are double checking all elements in the solution, which ultimately - is a positive thing.
