About FaxCore

FaxCore is an on-premise and cloud-based fax server software designed to help businesses facilitate the electronic exchange of faxes in compliance with industry regulations. Professionals can use the administrative dashboard to select cover pages for messages, view transmission details and utilize the search functionality to retrieve specific information from the database.

Using FaxCore, organizations can distribute documents among multiple recipients and track the status of messages as read/unread. Managers can secure confidential data and receive notifications about new faxes or emails. Other features include archiving, audit trails, fax scheduling, line routing, direct inward dialing (DID), access control and more.

FaxCore enables businesses to integrate the platform with Microsoft Office 365, enabling them to send or receive faxes in a centralized folder. Pricing is available on request and support is extended via documentation, FAQs, phone, email and other online measures.

    Pros:
FaxCore is the most secure and feature-rich document delivery solution I've used in 25 years of being in IT
    Cons:
There are so many features, it takes a while to learn and master them, especially the ones we don't use often.

    Reasons for switching to FaxCore

RightFax is expensive, has poor support and doesn't have the same level of security that FaxCore does.

Fax while a very old technology, it is still valid as if need to insure the recipient receives the document securely, quickly and with verification, fax is still the easiest.

    Pros:
Faxcore was quick to set up and easy to maintain. It had several configurations offerings (On-Prem, Cloud and hybrid) allowing it to align with our business needs.
    Cons:
Honestly, I have nothing negative to offer on the product. I have used many of its competitors, and hands down for ease of use, stability and flexibility, there is nothing better.

    Reasons for choosing FaxCore

Faster implementation, more flexibility in how the product was configured for our office.

Next Generation Fax Server For Today's Internet Standards

    5

FaxCore has been an outstanding fax server choice for our business. Support is US based. The latest version, ev6 is very modern, purposely developed for cloud deployments with a true SaaS architecture. Built on the JSON framework, FaxCore can completely live in the cloud, using Restful API, MFP, web interface or any email client.

    Pros:
FaxCore is easy to use, extremely reliable with outstanding technical support. FaxCore works well on any current Microsoft OS and Microsoft SQL Server. The MFP license supports an unlimited number of MFP devices. They were the first fax server to integrate with etherFAX and support fully encrypted faxes from end to end when using Direct Fax. FaxCore supports a HIPAA initiative for any healthcare organization.
    Cons:
In FaxCore version ev5, the web interface needed to be modernized. In the latest version, ev6, FaxCore was completely revamped from the architecture up, to provide a modern, forward thinking user interface that anyone can use to send or receive fax documents.

    Reasons for choosing FaxCore

We looked at all of the main stream fax server applications in the market place that come up on google. At the end of the day, FaxCore was the only company and product that was built with cloud architecture and security in mind from the beginning. They are also the only fax application that includes advanced features like PDF support, web client, and data encryption at rest within the core product. The overall TCO was lower with FaxCore and we could not be happier after using it for over 7 years with etherFAX.

    Pros:
The Exchange email integration is a huge timesaver. We like the idea of sending an email as a fax, no need to install a separate Fax client or fax printer.
    Cons:
None. Having used an on-premis Fax solution for over 10 years, both as a server/card solution, then later as a Virtual server solution with Fax drivers, the email as a Fax solution is superior to our previous solution.
