Love this software! A real time and money saver.

We have realized large cost savings in reduction of routes using their optimization tool. The workflow tool allows the flow of communication and processes to be streamlined between parents, schools and the transportation department, which has reduced our daily call volume by 50% or more. The implementation of this software provides the flexibility to our families to apply for busing, cancel busing or to communicate information to our department at anytime, anyplace has been a game changer. Pros:

This software is a intuitive program with many features that meet the needs of our Division. Our Department is tech forward and want those programs that help us work smarter not harder. Bus planner is a software that streamlines your processes.

Cons:

It is hard to mention a con of this company/product. If we have a concern/want, we call GeoRef and ask for any tools that may be helpful and normally the tool is included in the next software update.

1. The front loaded tech support, you call and the person on the line is a tech person to help not a receptionist to book a scheduled time to address your needs. 2. Competitive costing with different modules you can choose to add or not depending on your needs. 3. We are billed in Canadian dollars and do not need to worry about our fluctuating dollar in the market.

Our Division was looking for a software suite that was going to continue to move with the ever changing landscape of School Bus transportation and GeoRef is that company.
