About Versatrans

Versatrans is a cloud-based fleet management solution designed to help educational institutions streamline buses scheduling and routing operations on a unified portal. The platform enables schools to define optimal routes with borders and create safety rule and policies across maps.

Versatrans automatically analyses data about building capacities, student population and communities to assist district administrators with simulating vehicle capacity, creating what-if scenarios and preparing population forecasts. The GPS tracking functionality allows supervisors to monitor vehicle location, routes, estimated time of arrival, driver behaviour, and more in real-time. Additionally, schools can manage field trips by uploading information about destinations, vehicles, employees and buildings in the system, enabling drivers to view and print trip details.

Versatrans allows users to manage inventories, preventive maintenance, work orders, invoices and more using fleet management functionality. Pricing details are available on request and support is provided via phone, email and other online measures.

Easy to use once you've learned it

This software was very versatile which was nice, it could do pretty much all of the functions we needed it to do VS having to have multiple different software's. The general layout and look of the program feels basic and outdated but otherwise once I learned it, it was fairly easy to use.

Versatrans review

We use this daily in our operation and have for many years--as a school district. It is more complicated that it needs to be, but we unfortunately will not be changing any time soon as it is time consuming and costly to change.

Pros:

Functionally, it is just OK as a routing program. Certainly it does everything that it needs to do, as long as you know what you are doing.

Cons:

I feel the program is clunky and single dimensional--meaning, it can seemingly only do a single task, as you have to close out windows to get into other parts. The program is a little more expensive annually than it's competitors. Support has something to be desired.
