Sevron365 provides am integrated solution with several management tools, this could be expanded in integrate additional tools evolving into to the 'whole system'.

Cons:

Improvements:1. Simplified CoSHH assessment document.2. Simplified CoSHH assessment for non-classified products, i.e. minimal risk.

Ease of updating or inputting SDS sheets and super easy extract sds already on the system.

Cons:

The only issue with any risk assessments being written on the sevron platform be it task or COSHH is that I can be quite tiresome writing out methods etc due to the font changing size or font type changing, bullet points can also be a bit difficult to navigate and if using sub bullet points from say copy and paste you cannot seem to keep the same font.Other issues consistent with this is the moving about of say images on the method statement if you require some would be good if you could drag to the locations you need them as more aligned to word format.

Risk Assessment with COSHH 365

Since using COSHH 365 our assessments have been easier to produce, modify and approve.

COSHH 365 allows us to manage and understand the Hazards of our >1000 chemicals in our research laboratories. The assessments can be easily updated when changes are made which is often in research. The sign off section is useful from a compliance perspective as we can easily see who is trained in each assessment.The online help is also very useful and the team are always fast to respond.

Cons:

The MSDS updates are not easily detected and we would benefit from an e-mail prompt.It would benefit from more built in templates and tables for risk assessment.

Useful Software

It really does save us days when its time to review our COSHH assessments. It also allows us to check for changes more regularly (monthly). This means we can react quicker to any changes to SDS

We use COSHH365 as a single store for all up to date SDS.This greatly reduces the time it takes to review our Assessments as we can easily see which SDS have changed.No more spends days searching the internet for the latest versions of SDS

Cons:

When loading a new chemical to our portfolio sometimes we have a newer version of the SDS that is on the system.This means we need to request a review of the SDS from Sevron. While this doesn't take too long it does slow the process down.Also we have one item that has been in review since loading the product. We have requested updates but don't get a response.

Reasons for choosing COSHH365

Cost was the main driver.However they were offering features that we didn't need as standard.COSHH365 does nearly everything we want at the right price for us.

COSHH 365 Review

The ease of creating risk assessments has been beneficial. I started using the system post it's implementation and will amend certain aspects of the system to suit the business.

The symbols are easy to use and perfect for those not familiar with writing risk assessments. The majority of symbols are in place and constructing a risk assessment is a straight forward task

Cons:

Older revisions of SDS are still in the system. There should be a process whereby these are removed and the current SDS added. Currently that falls to the user. Search engine for SDS fails to locate the SDS despite it residing in the system.So resource should be allocated to manage this database
