Best Leave Management System We’ve Used

Our overall experience has been excellent. We moved from a competitor and the transition was smooth and well worth it. The platform is reliable, easy to use, and has simplified leave management across the business. Both managers and employees genuinely like using it, which says a lot. It’s rare to introduce a new system and have such universal buy-in, but Leave Dates has delivered on all fronts.

The UI is exceptionally clean and intuitive. Both employees and managers picked it up immediately with no training required. The user experience is modern, straightforward, and makes booking and approving leave effortless. Since switching from our previous provider, adoption has been seamless and feedback across the team has been overwhelmingly positive.

Cons:

Honestly, I haven’t been able to fault it. It does exactly what we need it to do, and it does it very well.

It's been okay. I always get a response from Human resources very quickly. Ilike the fact one receives an instant email stating that my request has been dealt with.

It's easyto book. You get an instant response once youhave submitted one's dates of leave. You cancel holldays very easily.

Cons:

It does not have an option for Flexi time or medical appointments. I don't understand the 0.14 days off annual leave when one has only asked foranhouroff work.

Hi Victoria, Thanks for your feedback. On Leave Dates, admins have the option to create custom leave types that suit their unique company policies. We pre-program statutory leave to help companies get started quickly, but companies can customise Leave Dates to suit them. If you would like to make a suggestion that flexi time or medical appointments display on Leave Dates, get in touch with the admin, assuming that is your HR team, and suggest that they add it. It takes only a couple of minutes to do. I believe that the 0.14 days off refer to the fraction of the day taken off. Presumably, your work days are in 7-hour blocks. If you have only requested an hour off, that would mean that 0.14 days have been deducted from your accrued leave. I hope that makes more sense. This would be your company's policy, though, so I would recommend clarifying with HR. Kindest, Che

Cons:

The user interface is sleek and intuitive. The eye is naturally guided to the right buttons, and the visual organisation of the page is functional without becoming overwhelming.

Cons:

The notifications alerts stay red even when you click the blue notification bell icon. I understand that a user needs to click each individual notification, but often people are content to see the brief list, without clicking on each individual one. I would suggest having the red alerts disappear when the blue bell is clicked, rather than when the individual notifications are linked through.

Wonderful User Interface

My overall experience with Leave Dates has been brilliant. Only the odd minor gripe. It is genuinely a brilliant piece of software.

The user interface is so intuitive and easy to use. I have never had any problems with, and it only improves with every update.

Cons:

I'm not a huge fan of how a couple of the sections are laid out. While it is every easy to use, it can sometimes be a touch annoying trying to remember where certain bits of information can usually be found.
