A great platform for events that meets our requirements

We saved a ton of time thanks to the platform's automated reminder emails for forthcoming events, and the ability to collect payments in one place made it a no-brainer. The fact that it's simple to use and can be tailored to your needs means that your website won't seem like every other Eventbrite-style site.

Pros:
We've been able to host easily-updatable websites, design our own event platform, accept payments, track registrations, and integrate with Salesforce all with the help of the Bizzabo platform, which is incredibly user-friendly and has excellent customer service.
Cons:
We don't have many complaints regarding Bizzabo. We've been asked to consider switching platforms on multiple occasions, but we've always been happy with our current setup.

Reasons for switching to Bizzabo

For me, not having to ask my web staff to develop a fresh landing page and plugins, etc., for the event page is a huge relief. In addition, it helps us appear more professional than competing sites.

Great platform for the actual live event, lots of customisation available, a true all-in-one event management platform.
Cons:
Can be quite confusing and overwhelming with all of the different options available and takes quite a bit of training to understand it all. Have had a lot of technical issues with live events - it seems that the success of an event is very heavily reliable on the quality of speaker's wifi/equipment.

The Software is Good. The People are Great.

Bizzabo has been a great partner for events big and small. The event creation, landing pages, and badging systems available are top-knotch. But it's really about the people. The teams are passionate, fun, energetic and enjoy the work they're doing, which means they'll help you accomplish what you want. Have a great idea for a large team dinner, seminar or online workshop? Bizzabo's teams are fluent in all kinds of events and can help you get invitations out, interactive landing pages up, and event ticketing easily set up. Even larger-scale conferences come together with tools for meeting and session management if you need to track CEUs and speaker minutes.

Bizzabo is a great business partner with passionate real people helping make every event outstanding. The learning curve is small, and the tools feel familiar; so it's easy to get up and running, fast.
Cons:
Sometimes, estimating the scale of what's needed can be off from the actual event needs. When this happens, and budgets are already spent, it's tough to eat the realization that you wish you'd paid less for less because there's no refunds or take-back for an event that didn't turn out as big as you estimated.

The customer service and limited data capture. One thing i really struggle with is Bizzabo verse studios - they have too many offerings with too many names and its confusing.

- salesforce integration and the registration tracking - user friendly - customization of event pages, colors, elements etc. (Protiviti does not leverage bizzabo in the way it is typically used) - onsite check in capability - email scheduler
Cons:
- lack of tracking capability - no option to create an "Event Template" without duplicating an event - sizing of images - would like to be able to move Column 1, 2 & 3 in a custom element vs having to completely redo it if we need to change the order of the content

Bizzabo talks event rocks

Its a great tool for event management. Previously we used to create our own CMS system for it but with bizzabo its an ease and with its API we can show the events on our website whereever we want. Overall a wonderful experience using Bizzabo.

The flexibility of designing the events is flawless and it supports responsive design which is an addition.
Cons:
I didint liked that we cannot add CSS directly within the section. First we have to give a class then go to the CSS section and add the CSS there. How cool it would be if the option to add CSS is when selecting a section.

Bizzabo is ok, it doesn't give us the level of data we require, and it's really hard to customise the graphics - the event experience should be improved by a Bizzabo event page, it shouldn't detract from the event.
