About Rave Panic Button

Rave Panic Button is a mobile communication tool that allows individuals to quickly and easily communicate any type of emergency to 9-1-1. Upon activation, the users phone will immediately dial 9-1-1 and at the same time, a preset notification is delivered to all necessary personnel including staff, and security.

Rave Panic Button works for app, landline and mobile activations for a true 9-1-1 integration, allowing 9-1-1 to communicate back when the “All Clear” has been confirmed. Whether individuals need help getting out of a burning building, finding transportation after a natural disaster or simply want to verify something is safe for children, the Rave Panic Button app has a solution for the organization.

Very good experience. Training for the RAVE app has been easy, and I have gotten responses immediately w hen needed.

Pros:

This product is a proactive way of keeping faculty safe. We had a fire at a school, and it pinpointed the location which saved minutes and saved the building. We could communicate with all teachers and staff members through this system.

Cons:

The geofencing at one of the schools was difficult because it was two campuses in one. This took time to figure out.

Great App for easily ensuring district safety runs smoothly.

Once you learn to use the App it is not all that difficult. However, I must say that initial set-up is somewhat confusing.

I like the ability to ensure that the administrator can manage staff well. I also like the ability to use the app for drills we run monthly.

Cons:

Some of the features could be more intuitive. For instance I would like that ability to see drill run by school site rather than just an overall list.

The staff email option. It is easy for us to end a drill.

Cons:

Cost. It is very expensive for how often it is used. The comfort the RAVE button offers does provide value.

Pros:

We use RAVE for fire drills, active shooter drills, and for tornado warnings. It is the latter that is the most important to us. We want to get all of our children to safety at the same time.

Cons:

Getting it installed on everyone's phones. There are different makes and models of phones that the employees have, and when they need help I may or may NOT be able to help them.

Ease of set-up. Employees download the app and it is ready to use. Once all employees are entered into system, there is just maintenance to keep accurate employee database.

System is easy to use, we have had no issues.
