Brainscape is a cloud-based learning management system (LMS), which helps educational institutions and businesses streamline student and staff training processes using space repetition technique-based flashcards. Educators can add text, images or audio to learning content, set up classes and configure students' editing permissions according to requirements.

Brainscape enables organizations to create training content in collaboration with several editors and track learners' progress on a centralized platform. Teachers can analyze students' study habits and assign homework to them, organize card decks and create signup pages for schools. Functionality

Pros:

Spaced repetition works flawlessly in this flashcard app. The algorithm adapts the content to the learners level and scaffolds the weak parts over and over again. It also provides a detailed progress tracking which is a plus here.

Cons:

Free trial has limits and after some point you feel it is not enough so it tempts the learner to upgrade to the pro version. Subject coverage can be a limitation too as different learners may want to see other content as well.
