A training platform that people actually want to use.

It's a system that is easy to use and configure. It has robust handling of whatever media formats you want to throw at. Staff enjoy the UI and more intuitive navigation experience. It's a win for our company overall.

Pros:

Undeniably the ease of use. The developers emphasised a company setup process that is intuitive and easy for a training coordinator of any level to use. I'm the primary training admin for our company - and as such the legwork involved in setting up and configuring training platforms has a very real impact on my time. This undeniably makes my job easier.

Cons:

No API to pull training metrics. We live in the age of AI and vibe-coding. Any reasonably tech savvy person has workflows and MCP servers that work with API's - and it is a sore point that Trainual does not yet have this.

Reasons for choosing Trainual

Ease of use and cost were determining factors. Trainual lends itself to smaller orgs.

Reasons for switching to Trainual

Kronus - while it is an exceptional product - had too much configuration overhead for a single person managing a training platform. The navigation was fiddly and onerous.

Trainual is the IDEAL training platform

We're still very new to Trainual (perhaps less than one year?), but I have had a great experience so far. I not only find it much easier to find information than our old system, but I also enjoy making content for my team.

Pros:

We used an old "wiki" system for a lot of our training and documenting our processes. Trainual has enabled us to do this in a way that engages our audience much more. It has received great feedback from our new hires during the onboarding process.

Cons:

Although it's still a new feature, I've encountered some personal issues with uploading a video directly to Trainual for hosting. It will say it may take up to 10 minutes, but do not go anywhere. I'm sure this will resolve itself after a bit!

Reasons for switching to Trainual

I wasn't a part of the decision process, but WorkRamp was not as user-friendly.

Best Platform for Training

I am over the moon with Trainual, the features as well as the support I have received since joining. The price is absolutely worth the features that you have access to and I am so glad that I discovered Trainual when I did.

Pros:

Trainual is incredibly user friendly with easily accessible features for the backend AND front end users. Our Team uses Trainual on a daily basis as it has the playbooks that our various Teams utilise for everything that they need to know or learn more about. I also love that you are able to share other department playbooks with everyone so that Teams have a clear overview of everyone's responsibilities and what is expected of them. Trainuals customer service and community is super helpful and I regularly find myself reading through what other people have posted to learn more about the features we have access to. They implementation Team is always looking for new ideas and very happy to take on suggestions from the users.

Cons:

Sometimes the mobile app is a bit slow and it doesn't have all the features that the computer version has - we have a lot of Team members on the ground that use the mobile app and rely on it for information while on sites.

Reasons for choosing Trainual

Trainual's technology fitted very well with our tech as a Proptech company. Their initial business call was great and they made me feel very confident in their services.

Reasons for switching to Trainual

The previous platform that we used was not user friendly and lost a selection of our data.

One stop shop for all your learning

Its been an extremely great experience. I have had [sensitive content hidden] who have helped me get implemented on trainaul and then after implementation the follow ups have been great. Trainual is very user friendly and allows you to manage your employees training and onboarding in one place. But it also allows you to add chrome extensions to sites your company uses, so they can access training notes as they are doing the process.

Pros:

The fact that you can assign content to specific users, the chrome extension which allows the team to follow steps while they are doing the process. The AI is a great feature to being able to ask a question and have the AI pull from all published content on Trainual is very useful and it even links where the employee can find the content.

Cons:

Importing documents, require formatting. Somethings are harder to get on than others. Though I found some work arounds that make it easier. I know it is something that they are working on.

Reasons for switching to Trainual

I became the systems trainer, and for me notion was just to difficult to deal with.

Cons:

Had to use Zapier for some stuff. Overall, not a deal breaking, but I've heard of others with better integration support.

Great product, and easy to use!

What I like most about Trainual is how user-friendly and efficient the platform is for organizing and sharing information. Cons:

One of the aspects I liked least about Trainual is the formatting experience, which can be tricky and sometimes inconsistent. Adjusting layouts, spacing, and text styles does not always feel intuitive, and formatting changes don’t always apply uniformly across sections. This can make it time-consuming to achieve a clean, consistent look, especially when creating longer or more detailed content. At times, it requires extra manual adjustments to maintain consistency, which slightly slows down the documentation process.

Trainual: An easy system for building a complete training program

I recommended Trainual to a client and the Trainual team helped them see the value and showed the client how to make it work for their needs. I was able to assist and we have now built a complete training program with Trainual as the backbone.

Pros:

Trainual is so easy to use unlike so many software platforms. When you use Trainual you can build a complete training program (I just did that for a client) or use it for one-off needs for communication with your team. AND you can easily verify who has completed which tasks.

Cons:

I really cannot think of anything I don't like or anything I'd change at this point. In some cases it takes two clicks when editing to get back to the other courses I'm working on. That's minor, once I did it, it became a standard operating procedure.

"Simply Amazing Tool for Teaching Company Processes"

The onboarding process felt old-school and took a lot of unnecessary time. Trainual helped us make the process smoother, so that anyone can follow it and get up to speed.

The IA could be a bit more helpful; right now, it feels somewhat limited. There definetly room for improvement in this topic.

Help New Hires get up to Speed!

I like most that it is ideal for documenting standard operating procedures (SOPs). I also think that it helps new hires ramp up faster.

I like that its has a clean, intuitive interface, both for creators and learners. You can structure content quickly using templates and modules without tech expertise.

Cons:

Trainual is fantastic for processes, but it’s not built to be a full knowledge base like Confluence or SharePoint.
