Ridiculously easy to set up and it just works. Clean 301 redirects in minutes with zero hosting, zero bloat, and no unnecessary features getting in the way. The interface is intuitive, the documentation is clear, and it solved multiple real-world domain and email-related issues instantly. This is one of those rare tools that does exactly what it promises, quickly and reliably.

Cons:

Honestly, very little. If you’re looking for a full DNS or hosting platform, this isn’t that, but that’s not a flaw. It’s intentionally focused, and it excels at that focus. The only “con” is wishing I’d found it sooner.

Superb Tech Support

I switched my web site hosting from Squarespace to Substack because the price of Squarespace went up ever year. Substack charged me a one-time $50 fee for using my custom domain, kalish.nyc. But the https version of my URL wasn't loading on Firefox browsers, so my domain registrar, Hover, suggested that I use redirect.pizza. I did and a problem ensued: because Hover also had a redirect in place, a loop was created. The tech support people at redirect.pizza promptly responded to my emails requesting help and solved the problem, which entailed Hover removing its redirect.

It's free and the tech support is superb. When I ran into complications with the redirect my domain registrar was responsible for, redirect.pizza came to the rescue.

Cons:

I can't think of anything I didn't like about redirect.pizza. I do wonder whether something that is free will last but time will tell.

Simplifies the complex and works to effectively redirect URLs with SSL intact

redirect.pizza allowed me to do in a short amount of time what I had been struggling to do through my domain's DNS settings and web host's CPANEL options. I never did figure out how to do what redirect.pizza did, so I'm glad redirect.pizza provides this service.

Redirecting one of our URLs (with SSL) was a confusing and time-consuming process but it became surprisingly straightforward to get the task done with redirect.pizza. I especially liked how the system checked to see when the changes had be implemented.

Cons:

The redirect.pizza site had a lot of instruction and options and it took some time to figure out what to do for the specific need I had. Once I did, it was easy.
