ChartLogic offers an ambulatory EHR suite that includes electronic medical record, practice management, revenue cycle management, e-prescribing and patient portal. The solution caters to primary care, surgical care and other complex areas of medicine.

ChartLogic electronic medical record is designed to understand user workflow, specialty and personal preferences. The solution offers electronic charting capabilities that allow medical practitioners to view patient notes, medical history, referral letters and diagnosis codes on a single screen.

ChartLogic practice management helps in managing the administrative activities which include registration and scheduling, eligibility and verification, claims, billings and collections, user dashboards and reports. The module also integrates with ChartLogic EMR.

ChartLogic revenue cycle management enables users to optimize financial performance. The solution manages the payer mix, case volumes and denials and disputes on a regular basis. ChartLogic also takes care of the claims continuum and provides practice staff access to detailed financial data.

Great platform for insurance doctors, doctors, and patients alike.

I am checking electronic health records as well as existing prescription information to determine whether a customer qualifies for procedure coverage as well as if the procedure is safe given current prescription medication that the customer is using.

Pros:

I can double check every health related patient information in here to approve procedure payments, thanks to our doctors sharing this info with us via CL.

Cons:

Some features and information take a while to update on the server side. Because of this sometimes I have to wait longer than usual for what I need.

Get the best for YOUR specialty.

We were an early adapter to electronic records, 20 years ago. After a long search and many demos, ChartLogic won us over with not only their product, but their customer service, ease of use, and continual improvements.

Pros:

Having an EMR which was tailored to our specialty was the key to our choosing ChartLogic. With them providing an easy to use product designed for pediatrics, it was the obvious choice.

Cons:

The cost of course. But they are all expensive, so we chose one which will give us the most bang for our buck for our specialty.

The doctor and techs like the usability of the software. Unfortunately, even upon specifically asking, the company does not notify us of changes we will experience and issues that may occur when updates are installed. When they are reported, tickets are opened and nothing is ever done to resolve the problems... we have to learn to deal with them. Our IT department has never had any issues coordinating the requirements for the updates.

Cons:

Lack of promised follow-up, poor customer service and tickets not even being opened when requested (although, even when a ticket is issued, they are not addressed/resolved).

Chart Logic EHR and a Surgeon's office

ChartLogic EHR is a strong choice for surgical specialties especially for the surgeon that I used to bill for. It is a great choice for solo to mid-sized practices due to its powerful voice dictation, customizable templates, and ease of charting. The Command Mode feature stands out for enabling rapid, voice-driven documentation. The streamlined interface and integrated suite are very nicely done. However mobile access, interoperability, and UI modernization need improvement.

Customizable Templates, Allow for significant customization of templates to suit provider and specialty workflows. Integrated System: Seamlessly connects EHR, practice management, and patient portal into one suite. No need to log in and out of different softwares Ease of Use: Simple interface and intuitive navigation, reducing learning curve for providers and staff. Quick Charting: Fast note creation using macros and dictation, improving chart completion time.

Cons:

Limited Mobile Access: The EHR Lacks of a robust mobile app; staff previously reported difficulty accessing key features on mobile devices. User Interface (UI) Appearance: While functional, the interface can feel outdated compared to newer platforms especially when compared to EPIC Template Flexibility: Although customizable, the customization process complex or not intuitive.
