the best platform to do online voting and surveyes easily, the user interface is easy to use and features all available for survey.

Cons:

the design of survey forms are old not looks like modern forms like others. and some time glitches in analytics.

Highly Recommend AV

AV was one of the options available online following research into an online voting platform. Although many answers to questions were available on the website, [sensitive content hidden] took the time to meet and discuss points of concern. The entire experience from pre-Sale to implementation has been excellent!

The Management Portal is very user friendly leading to a smooth experience for every meeting. [sensitive content hidden] provides excellent service to clients and the rest of the team is very professional responding in a timely manner.

Cons:

No cons experienced and nothing to be noted at this time.

Reasons for switching to AssociationVoting

Election Buddy's features are very limited and the portal is not user friendly. One must follow step by step ie. "next" "next" etc. without the ability to toggle between different pages. That's insufficient during meetings with large numbers of people to manage.

I like that it holds all of my information from previous usage, so I don't have to start from scratch each time.

Cons:

I think they layout looks dated and the site isn't very easy to navigate.

Easy to navigate as both an admin and user

I've used AV on many occasions for our SIG and CoC elections. The first time I did one, it was, admittedly, a touch confusing, but their support team was able to handhold me through the whole process and even copied over a previous election for me so I wouldn't have to reinvent the wheel. Now, I feel like a pro even though I've only done a handful of these, and that's because the platform itself is intuitive.

I like how user friendly the platform is. It's very easy to navigate and the setup process is seamless compared to other options we've tested.

Cons:

Not a fan of how the unsubscribes work, but I do understand that it's industry standard to remove the email address from your platform and not just that one election. I also don't love that there isn't an option for admins to opt someone back in, as our members tend to ask us to do so on their behalves but we aren't able to.

Looking forward to our next election

We have used Association Voting for several years for our [sensitive content hidden] elections. It has been easily adopted by our membership and works very well for everything we need.

Association Voting is easy to set up, and accommodates our need to restrict voting for some candidates ([sensitive content hidden]) to sub groups of our membership. Love the option to include candidate photos. Their pricing is reasonable compared to some other online election options. Good customer support.

Cons:

Really, nothing. It works well and doesn't confuse our members.

Review - Fairway Village HOA

We like the certification of the vote. We would love to make the emails more recognizable as coming from our company to avoid the voters missing or ignoring them.

The name of the emails confused our voters, so many of them ignored the ballot. We ended up getting a lot of requests for paper ballots.

My AV Experience

So far, this helps a lot. The voting is very easy. It is my second time to vote. I am very happy that I have learned how to set my election.

Pros:

It is secure, and you can have a system-generated report. You can set a weight of vote which is necessary for the associations. I have not checked other voting platforms, but this is tailor fit for the associations, unlike the traditional settings of google forms.

Cons:

Well, I can have one election only per license. Perhaps, they can set a validity period like 30 days. In case the election did not pushed through and the association needs to have special election after a number of days, you have to renew the license. Moreover, for voting on separate groups, you can only have one link for that. Like in my case, I have a residential and a commercial group voting separately. Since the two groups are included in one link regardless of number of pages, anyone who has credentials can vote through the link even on the other group since they can see that. I hope the voting to another group can be disabled.

Excellent voting platform

AssociationVoting was great to work with from the proposal stage through the close of the elections. The platform was very easy to use. Setting up the elections, scheduling email campaigns, and running reports were all easy processes. I'm looking forward to using the system again next year!
