Time-Saver for professional slide creation

Overall, we are very happy with SlideLizard. It has become an essential tool in our daily work and clearly saves time, effort, and coordination across teams.

Pros:

We’ve been using SlideLizard Creator for about two years now, and it has improved how we build PowerPoint presentations. The biggest benefit is the time savings: our consultants and account managers use it in different ways, but both groups benefit from having all slides centrally available. The ability to search for a specific slide and reuse it instantly, without opening multiple decks, is a productivity boost. From a marketing perspective, it’s incredibly helpful that slides only need to be updated once and are then automatically up to date everywhere.

Cons:

Occasionally, there are small bugs, but nothing critical. When issues come up, the service team is always quick to respond and very supportive, which offsets this downside quite well.

SlideLizard hilft uns unsere PPT-Folien zu strukturieren und Vorträge und Workshopunterlagen schnell und aktuell zu erstellen. Es ist eine große Erleichterung in unserem Arbeitsalltag mit PPT.

Cons:

Die Suche dauert teilweise noch etwas lange und funktioniert nicht immer zuverlässig (Tags müssen gut gepflegt werden)

Interim balance after almost two years working with SlideLizard

Working with SlideLizard in the past almost two years, the software functioning has improved greatly. The main features work well while the suboptimal search function and long updating times still hinders working with SlideLizard. Some handy new features like the built-in translator function were added while some issues here and there still need to be resloved.

Pros:

SlideLizard allows to quickly build new presentations by combining existing slides. As the slides that were inserted from the library stay connected to it, centrally made updates are immediately awailable to the entire team. One just has to open a presentation and automatically receives information on whether there is a new version of the slide available.

Cons:

The main obstacle to a smooth use of SlideLizard in our team is the search function, which still has room for improvement. The search itself is not intelligent like a google search and does not capture the sense of the search key word. Exact matches are not prioritize over those containing just one of several key words. Moreover, there is no possibility to refine the seach by using operators in the search box. This makes it hard to find the right slides in a timely manner as one usually receives a flood of irrelevant slides to a search query.

Recommended tool for easy presentations and great teamwork

Very positively received by the team. The tool streamlines the use of a repository of slides which has come to serve almost as a "knowledge" base

Pros:

Its easy integration in powerpoint, enhanced search functionalities, automatic updates and the corporate identity guide which makes it easier to adhere to templates and branding guidelines

Cons:

Not much. We have some connectivity issues sometimes, but this is linked to our on premise set-up which I would not recommend.

Clean management of Powerpoint content
