ChangeTower is a website change detection and archiving platform that enables users to monitor web pages for various types of modifications. The system captures full-page visual screenshots, text-based content snapshots and source code to track changes over time. When changes matching predetermined settings are detected, the platform notifies users and automatically archives a snapshot of the page for future reference.

The platform offers extensive customization options for monitoring specific elements of web pages. Game-changer

Changetower is an absolute lifesaver! I was struggling to secure an important appointment that was nearly impossible to book manually—slots would appear at unpredictable times and disappear within seconds. Thanks to Changetower's monitoring and alerts, I finally got my appointment without constantly refreshing the page. If you're dealing with hard-to-get bookings, this tool is a game-changer. Very unique piece of software!

I enjoy it very much, I don't think any other website would allow you to do what this website can do.

Pros:

It allows us to track our competitor's prices and new product updates like no other website would! Most sites don't provide an RSS feed anymore and so ChangeTower is a good fix to that.

Cons:

It can be hard to set-up and there isn't a lot of resources on their website to guide you through. The user cases are limited.

Good System that needs some improvments

This is a good page change monitoring system for some pages but could be better with more control over the output/tracking. It is super helpful and works well on pages with tables or pages with hidden sections but the lack of control over when the alerts are checked/sent is a real downside. Providing some additional flexibility/functionality

Pros:

It does a great job of highlighting updates and removals for webpages. It also keeps track of the sites monitored in an easy way. Uploading content is easy once input into the spreadsheet.

Cons:

You cannot set a time to check the page and over time the alerts automatically start coming in later and the only way to resolve it to reupload the spreadsheet of all the pages. It is also not always clear where the update came from so if there was a way to view the change on the page that would be helpful. It would also be great if you could ignore updates to the header/footer of webpages or omit pop-ups - those often trigger emails even though there is nothing new. Being able to point different page checks to different pages would also help increase the value.

They start running late over time because the size of the queue affects the time when these monitors will actually be checked. We have the ability to specify the exact crawling time, we just need you to reach out to our support team and let us know the time! - We do offer the selective monitoring feature - our customer support team would be happy to help set this up for you.
