This is very easy to pick up by all levels. With various staff spread out across Canada and using this with the Canada Revenue Agency's defined costs works perfect for cutting down on administration and various reporting requirements. Using this provides a clear log of staff travels and costs and record of customer service visits.

I was needing an app that would accurately track and report trips and mileage that would be reported to the state. I needed reliability and ease of use, along with accurate reporting. It provided all of those things.

On the surface this looks like a good application that would keep the ATO happy. However, the distances are estimated and not actual recorded resulting in shorter than actual distances. If you travel every day, after 5 days I found myself with 7 kms missing which starts to add up over time. The lack of capability to record tolls, car service, fuel and other ancillary items amounts to a half baked product with an expensive subscription fee for what it can do and how it does it. I can't export the reports which makes life more difficult and I can't change the "recorded" distances to be correct. Its very limited ability to do anything else is very disappointing and creates extra work. As a small business owner, it partly fills the need for the ATO.
