Pros:

It is intuitive and easy to start using! That's an important feature for something as working with roles (instead of functions), cause mentally that's already a stretch for people... Having a simple tool really supports that transition and makes self-organization easier to implement.

Cons:

The fact that you always have to choose the role first (and then see the names attached to it) instead of the other way around when assigning projects.

Easy to use, great customer support, and excellent insight into organizational structure. Peerdom is especially useful for organizations with non-traditional structures. I work for a cooperative that operates with a more holacratic system, and Peerdom has been incredibly helpful. It provides a clear overview of our structure and roles, supports transparency, and helps us hold each other accountable.

Cons:

The 'looks' have a more before 2000 fibes, you love it or you hate it ;), I was a bit lost in how you could use this tool for insiders and outsiders. (We use it to explain our organisation to outsiders, and inbetweens, the inbetweens need to now where they 'are' but do not have to have rights to change things.)

We used to write the tasks, skills, responsibility in a word file for every employee. However, this was very cumbersome and we did not get a high level overview of all the responsibilities. Peerdom does exactly provide this.

Cons:

We are missing AI features which help to write content and gives a perspective on all fields. The good thing is that Peerdom will implement this soon.

Pros:

We’ve recently pivoted to a decentralised structure, and Peerdom has been absolutely invaluable in making that transition smooth and transparent. We love how easy it is to clearly define roles and accountabilities from the outset, and the visualisation tools make our company structure instantly understandable to anyone. It’s intuitive, flexible, and has helped us align as a team with real clarity.

Cons:

If we had one wish, it would be for the ability to duplicate similar roles to save time when setting things up. Having a library of sample responsibilities and role templates would also be a fantastic time-saver. But overall, it’s an excellent platform that’s made a big difference for us.

Good and flexible visualisations to make organisation. The customizability of the the tool to fit our specific implementation of self-managing concepts is also appreciated. Granular pricing of features. Great, personal and responsive support when needed!

Peerdom is awesome and helps you get that birdseye view
